If anyone remembers me from before I took an hiatus from HP, I used to post photos of my horses all the time. Some people might even say too many photos of my horses. Never to my face, but maybe amongst themselves. :p

Anyway! I wanted to give a little update on my boys.

Fred is 25 years old. Twenty-five. That's insane to me. He is fully retired and just goes for his turn out in his arena near where the horses get worked so he can judge everyone. He is in good health. We had to put him on a different type of hay for his digestion, but other than that he doesn't need to be on anything special!



Jackson is now 12! i've had him for 7 years now which is also insane to me. He's been doing well. He's coming back from an injury in his right hind that put him on stall rest/hand walking for a year. That was really hard on the both of us, and his showing career is over, but I'm glad to have him healthy and sound again! We go for nice, light workouts and are getting better on the trail. He is still the cutest horse I've ever seen, so there's that!



In other news, I've been given the opportunity to work with some other horses from time to time I absolutely love! I'd like to introduce Joseph, aka Muffin, and Oliver! Muffin is a 6 year old AQH stallion by Lil joe Cash and Oliver is a 6 year old gelding by Lil joe Cash. Joseph is the bay and Oliver is the palomino.



In the final little bit of news, with Jackson being retired from his show career and Fred planning on living forever (he promised me), I am planning on going horse shopping again with the next 2 years or so! Let's see if I can find a third unicorn to add to my herd, hehe.

awh look at them! I can't believe Fred is 25! I remember both of these boys and followed you on insta forever XDDD My old girl is also 25, but we've only had her for roughly 6 months and was told she was in her teens when we rescued her and our other one is early 20s.. gotta love the oldies XDD Joseph and Oliver are handsome too!
