Server Update - Possible Downtime!

We've been noticing lately that our nightly crons have been lagging a bit in running. While looking into it with the server company, they suggested we do a resize of our server. We have decided to do this on...

Friday August 12th at 6am game time

Per the server people, this shouldn't take more than a few hours. They also don't expect it to make the game go down at all, and if it does, not for long. I'm obviously hopeful that this is true and that this will go off without a hitch.

This time was chosen because I thought it would affect game play the least...end of the week, not when crons are scheduled to run, etc. 

So fingers crossed this will be a positive, pain-free event!

Well I accidentally slept until 12:30pm game time today and didn't wake up to any panicked messages on my phone, so I think we made it through incident-free!

The big tell will be if crons run tomorrow like normal. If they do, I'm going to assume this didn't break anything! Yippee!
