I don't understand the 'price guide' everyone uses. I have 12th generation lines with 6 millers in there, and they sell for around 8 mill max (if they even sell). How do some of these animals get your attention so that you're willing to spend 50 mill on one offspring?

Pricing of animals and selling them is all very much a buyers market.  There's so many things that depend on an animals "worth".  Popularity, consistancy of training, points, lines, your reputation as a breeder/trainer/player/etc.

There's some very quality animals that I have ended up deleting because I couldn't even GIVE THEM AWAY.  Most recently, a Dutch lined boxer with 3 mill parents born with 200k points.  It happens to every breeder everywhere and the best way to handle it is to take it with a grain of salt and move on. 

It has taken me 6 generations of hard work, money, time, and lots and lots of private shows for 2 years for it all to finally pay off.  When I first started breeding andalusians there were 2 other active breeders... Famous Shamus & Blitz & Addy.  Since then I have spent lots and lots of time recruiting new breeders, giving away back ups to spike interest, training, etc to keep people interested in my main breed that I want more breeders for.

If you are wanting more interest in your breeds work your butt off making them into one!  Please don't descredit someone's hardwork because you aren't getting prices that you want for your breeds.  Do something about it!!

I just sold them this afternoon.  I will be doing back ups in about a month or so for my project mare Tazlina though so keep an eye out!  Her goal is 8 mill! :)
