Myself, Bellicus and Blue Horse Studios are thinking of doing a huge HP graphics collaboration image! Basically, 12 designers will get to design a horse in the HP Christmas Parade. It will be sectioned into 3 parts as one image would be much too large. It will only get as big as we can get participants. Later it will be raffled or auctioned away as layouts (in the 3 seperate sections) and all proceeds will be donated in the spirit of Christmas!

 The concept is that each horse will portray their artist's "signature." Certain mane and tail techniques, markings, colors and styles that make us each different and special. If possible, you can even try to have your horse portraying your personality!

We are thinking about splitting the money over the clubs to maybe have more contests.... other ideas are welcomed.

I am wondering, how is this going to be done.. the person would need to do their horse a certain size, and on a clear background, so it can be later extracted and put on the big picture of your group? Should one of us make the background sky for the other players to put their horses on when the time comes?

Any help with this message me. I find it easiest to do it on a coloured bg. and then hide the layer.

Also.. it needs to be established a type of pose.. for example if we are hooking them all up to a sled in the sky, a standing pose may not fit!

annndddd... feel free to group yourselves into teams of four with whom your four horses will be combined with out of the 12 horses total.

Possible thirteen, santa included! And a sky scene would be epic! but maybe, a snow forest/meadow scene? in those, any pose is fine! but there's a crap ton of stock images of horses in motion! the four artists that are going to be working together need to discuss HOW they will be doing theirs. It might be better if we did them on transparent backgrounds then add our beasts into the background once they're finished, followed by lighting, etc. 

Either way, with Atra being apart of it, that makes 4 artists total! woo!! Coding is definitely appreciated!

This is such an awesome idea!  I CANNOT WAIT to see what you all come up with!  We have so many talented graphic makers on here that I just know it will end up being epic!

Do they ALL need antlers, or are they figuratively reindeer :)

Also, I'm realizing now, that we will not only have the "final graphic" but since each horse is made individually we will have them all separate as well.. SO a LOT more money could be made if the final was auctioned off for charity, and each and every horse (on a simple coloured BG) could also be auctioned off. That way, more players would be able to get a piece of the collaboration by getting a "character" that was featured in it!

Instead of having just the 4 HUGE auctions, we'd have ALSO have 12 mini ones for a character!!

I'd love to see what comes of this though! I just don't want to jump on board when I know Christmas is... an utter nightmare.
