I have to share somewhere, last week my husband and I adopted our 3rd cat. Meet Tako! We're so in love, big brother Moose and big sister Garnet are a little less than thrilled however.

OKie, I must know... is that pronounced like I think it is?! "Taco"? xDDD

We love our black cats! We have 3 ourselves, 2 females and a stray male that recently adopted us.

Thanks all! I'm a big old softy for black kitties. I told my husband no more cats right now, but then we saw her and couldn't let her stay all by herself after all her litter-mates had already been adopted.

Yes, Ris, that's how we've been pronouncing it! Although I'm sure that its not right because Tako is Japanese for octopus, she's a wriggly little worm.

My black girl, Pickle, has a few white hairs on her chest too! She also has a white belly patch that's only visible when she's on her back or when she stretches out her front end and has her bum up in the air. Her eyes are orange, though I'd hoped they'd go blue. 

A word for "talk" is "yak"; if Tako is talkative, you could give her the nickname "Takoyaki" XD
