Hey all, Lumos/Sangre here.

I haven't really been around for almost a year, life got really crazy after I had my daughter. Working full time, trying to learn to eventually take over a business, and being a single Mom (even though I am blessed to have support of my family, and my daughter's grandparents) has been a huge adjustment to say the least lol. I still feel like I'm flying by the seat of my pants some days but I'm finally getting more settled and feeling like I need something just for myself, not work me, not mom me, and I'm going to see if I can make time to come back to my beloved HP. 

I have missed you all, and would love to hear some life updates!

Welcome back, Lumos! It sounds like you've had quite the year. Congratulations on becoming a mother! ♥ I'm sorry that you are going it alone, but it sounds like you have a nice support network which warms my heart.

It's good to have something just for yourself when you're already being so many other versions of yourself for others. I'm glad you've decided that HP should be that outlet for you. I'm sure many of us will be thrilled to see you return again. (:

Welcome back! While I don't have a family of my own, I can relate to the whirlwind that life can throw at you. It's been nice to have a place like HP where, even after I was gone for so long, I can still call "home." 

I feel like my life if pretty boring but I'll give you an update anyway xD I'm still working in vet med, I just shift between working on the floor as a vet assistant and in an administrative role. I've actually just started the ball rolling to go back to school to earn an associates degree as a veterinary technician with a goal to take my boards (and be license in Missouri) by the end of 2025. It's a little terrifying but I'm also excited to finally commit to it. I'm down to one dog but she makes my heart whole having a little in the house again. One of these days I'm hoping to get another big dog but for now she's very happy being the center of my world haha. I can't seem to settle down with anyone for very long so I'm still happily single and get to be the crazy aunt to my nephews

Life updates for me? Hmm.. I'm back in Utah! No longer living in the RV after our transition back here from Florida. I got another dog! So now we have 5! Work is still the same.. life is still crazy! But otherwise doing good! 

Hi Lumos! I'm new as of 2021 so nice to meet you! I'm Vex and live in Las Vegas. My husband deploys a lot so I like to meet people on here and focus on my pixel ponies :) I have a cat named Bailey whos a dork of a ragdoll.

Welcome back! I hope you have a smooth transition back onto HP! I came back in January because I also needed something for myself to focus on that wasn't parenthood and the whirlwind that is life.

Hello Jade! I love the name change. And thank you! Things have not turned out like I thought or planned but everything is starting to come together now so I think and hope the worst is over. I'm madly obsessed with my beautiful daughter she's the best, and most important thing. I'd been toying with the idea of coming back for a while and decided to just jump in and see what happens! I'm glad to see you still here!!

OMG HI TRIG! Good to hear from you! And yes exactly.. it really does feel like I've come back home lol. Many things change but HP and the friendships here do not. And that's awesome! I'm going to be going back to school as well and while it's scary, I know you will do great! Your pupper is adorable!! And I am glad you are happy. I'm getting used to being single and I'm quite enjoying it as well now that I'm over the hurt.
