Hey Guys! 

By now you know I’m the “rich bish” according to a few players that won the custom breed auction. This is entirely what I wanted to do so that I could do exactly what I am about to do with it. I have had a really long, bad week (busy level wise and health wise) so please excuse any typos or anything in this post that doesn’t make sense. 

Why did I bid on BOTH auctions? Not to drive the price up or to be a greedy person. I wanted to win it so that I could in turn give everyone in the HP community the chance to put their input in on what new breeds we have added. If I bought it and made the horse a Concourser - who else, other than me, would want to breed that? So I snagged them both and I am super happy that I was able to do this. 

SOOOOO with that being said I do have a few ideas to pitch out about the custom breeds. BUT I want to hear your ideas too and I want everyone to pitch whatever idea they would have put into the game if they won. After people have their say - we will let everyone vote. I did run this by Blitz and all breeds must match the original contest rules and she has veto power if it does not. 

Here are my current ideas for the breeds at hand: 

~~ First; here are the in memorial breeds I was thinking of pitching: 

HORSE

Alimoose: A horse breed that is highly versatile and excels at a variety of things (dressage, jumping, trail riding, western, english, driving, and more). It’s beautiful and comes in a variety of colors, but are most likely to be: gray or bay. Other occurring colors include: minimal black, dun, chestnut, and palomino. Rare Colorations include: buckskin, or cremello. The thing that sets the Alimoose apart from other breeds is the set of horns that rest on it’s skull. Most have moose like antlers that adorn the skull and add charm to the breed. Some may have deer antlers, but this is extremely uncommon. - The week with May 28th in it every year for her birthday. 

DOG

Violet Setter: A setter-like breed that comes with a variety of colors, but they all include shades of purple. The dog is similar in looks, appearance, and temperament of the English Setter. [I am struggling here - I didn’t know Violet personally. This is her in memory dog: https://horsephenomena.com/dogs.php?id=62050 if you knew Violet and want to help fluff this out, by all means let’s do it!] - The week of her birthday, the 4th of December. 

~~ Second; here are the fun breeds I was thinking of pitching:

HORSE

Shorse - It’s a shark! It’s a horse! It’s a SHORSE! This animal is like a shark with horse legs (sometimes may include a mane and tail like a horse, sometimes it may have a shark tail, sometimes it may have both!). It can look like any species of shark and it doesn’t have to be underwater to be alive.  - SHARK WEEK BREED, DUH 

DOG

Olwini [ name may change] - Is a large, vulpine like breed that ranges in size from mini to xl (taller than a wolf). These vulpine like animals also come in a variety of colors and fur types. Their ears are tall, and some curl back at the tips. They are extremely intelligent and curious. They normally, but not always, have really thick fur around their neck and on their tails, and tufts of fur coming from their ears. They can be any color that exist and typically have markings that look like what would come from mixing a fox and a wolf together. - I’d like this to be in whatever week the 14th of July falls in for my birthday

Soo respond here with your pitches for your horse and / or dog breed! And on Monday at 11:59pm I will close entries for this and Tuesday I will have a poll up for everyone to vote and we will go from there. :D If you want to donate money back feel free, but I don’t feel right charging for people to pitch their ideas. Voting will close on Friday to give Blitz time to have them in the store on the following Sunday.    I'm not asking a fee for you to pitch your ideas - but if you wanted to donate back to my project fund I'd appreciate it. Currently about to cancel my current plans until I recoupe some funds.

a Jade Fox! Like a regular fox but much cuter. Extremely smart and loyal. (but, uh, maybe with a better name :P )

I love the Alimoose idea! I didn't know her at all or even of her until recently when she passed and everyone was talking about her constantly. But she sounds like and awesome person! 

I've also never heard of Violet either so I can't speak too much of her either. Sorry.

I also loved the idea of unimoorf mentioned in another forum. But sorry, Moorf, I think I'd have to vote for the Alimoose memorial breed just because it's in honor of a beloved fallen player. I'd breed them!

This thread is for everyone to pitch ideas they'd like and pick the week they'd want them in the normal store.

They would get credit for the breed -not me.

If you had an idea you'd like other players to vote on post here. I want a breed numerous people are interested in, not just one person.

The memorial breeds make me sad too, but both were such an amazing part of hp that I'd be happy to see them live on in the game.

Not me crying over here because I'm absolutely in love with the Allimoose and Violet Setter ideas.  😢🥰

I tapped out once the bids went above 2.5bill since it was at that point going to eat into my Gen 30 Project Pony funds I've been saving for forever for..soo...here's what I was thinking if my bid was the one that got accepted haha!

HORSE
Ale-Jay
("Ahh-lay-jay")
Named after my heart kitty (Alejate) & heart pony (JJ). Both of which have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
Realeased in the regular Store during the first week of August. August 1st was Ale's birthday.
The horse's body type would have a similar frame to that of the American Saddlebred. Light, upright, springgy, and flowing manes & tails, but have feathers like the Friesian. Different gene pools can alter the frame a bit to sustain that of a more Baroque type breed or Pony type breed. Versatile in many disciplines and are often gaited, curious and smart minded. One of the cool things about the Ale-Jay is that their coat color has no restrictions. They can come in any color of the specturm and can obtain any kind of coat pattern. Think like an Orange Tabby with the marmalade, stripes, spots patterns or the Siamese with the Blue/Seal/Lilac/Flame point coloring. And this is where the mythical part kicks in, does it have scales? No, that's just the fur pattern to look like it does. A super cool hue of Blue, yeah buddy! Traditional pinto markings, sure thing! Spots like Apps, are rare, but possible! No additional horns, wings, lion like tails, fins, etc. though. So there is some kind of limit involved, haha!

If you guys don't like that name I was also thinking of "Lastande", came from some website eons ago trying to find your name in Elvish back when LOTR was being first released into theatres. xD

I had an idea that popped into my brain last night, I know I'm probably a little late but here's my vague concept anyway. =D A horse breed based on the four horsemen of the apocalypse. They would come in shades of white, black, blood red, and pale green, potentially with markings pertaining to the corresponding horseman (skeletal markings for Famine, a sickle for Death, etc). Not sure on a name, maybe Apocalypizzans? LoL. This coming from my sleep deprived brain that's been reading lots of spooky mythology and watching too many horror movies. =)

Gothmutts - All black or all white doggos of varying shapes and sizes! Spiked collars sold separately.

Glitterponies - If you distilled 2010 Adam Lambert down to an essence and mixed it with copious amounts of glitter and rainbows - you'd have GLITTERPONIES! All colors of the rainbow (including the rare rainbow color!), with a can't-miss-it shimmer. And of course - they leave a trail of glitter wherever they go!
