What's Happening Here?

Hey y'all! I've had this nagging idea in my head to make a centralized spot to collaborate with other players in search of partnering up. So here it is, The Coffee Shoppe! Feel free to post your partner search details such as what breed (or breeds) you may be interested in, what you are looking for in a partnership, and any other relevant details.

     As always, please treat everyone with respect. Before contacting someone to partner up, please make sure read over any criteria they posted. Not everyone is looking for the same things in a partnership and that's ok! If we all played HP the same way, things wouldn't be nearly as fun. So whether you like your coffee black, served with all the fixings, or would rather have tea, I'm sure there is a cup waiting for you!

I'm thinking I'd love to enter. But I don't want to be solely responsible for it financially so a partner would be nice. I was thinking it'd be fun to do a tix/shows entry but the 115mil or whatever registration fee is a little steep to do alone though. I'd prefer a horse breed, particularly one that I already have an account going (Paints, Arabians, Pintabians, Gypsies, Standardbreds, QH, DWB) unless someone has a spare and wants to develop a long term partnership on those lines stemming from the mascot entry.

Oh I hope you can find someone! I'm passing on the mascot contest this year, too much going on.

Not related to mascot contest: I am always up to partner/team up with someone, casually as I haven't much to offer as far as monies or upgrades. I have grand dreams of many breeds on HP, but overwhelm myself quite easily with trying to keep up with animals and/or the uprades required to keep decent animals going. 

@Eyre - I'm the same way, so many breeds I would enjoy but so much to take on alone!

I am open to maybe partnering up with someone - but said person will need to be actively playing! I have a couple uppies that I've started lines in, IF anyone would be interested in doing something there. 

Currently breeding;

- Paso Finos (main- obviously will not be joint account)
- Pintaloosa
- Knabstruppers
- Nightmares (considering not breeding and discontinuing for a different breed)

I would be more than happy to create a layout for us/ any photos for horses etc. Training would and should be split as well as funds contributed to training. I personally would like to do a PAIR of SOMETHING RARE (no horses on HP) and try to do a highest pointed in "X" for that breed...

I am actively looking for new partners. My life has been hectic as all get out here the past few years (since 2021 -shivers- I don't want to think about it) and now that things are finally settling down in place I am back and I am ready to roll! I want to find partners and I want to branch out and start making connections on the site again. I currently have a few (Jaya, Ris, and soon to be Nessa) and while I loves them and appreciate our partnerships, what I love about the HP community is how vast and different the player base is.

@Dakiti - Love your idea of going for the HP of a breed! I tend to lean towards more rare guys so that's been an unofficial goal of several of mine :}

@Con - How do you have some any dog breeds yet none that speak to me!? xD

My issue is I've no idea what.

I currently breed: New Forest and Highland Ponies and Gypsy Vanners and GSDs are the only dog breed I have.

I'm going to put out some feelers to see if anyone is interested in doing prism breeding with me. I already do this with several of my horse breeds and really enjoy it. I'd just love for someone else to be able to color linearts too. Training would be just public shows so no extra pressure there. Breeds I'm considering would be either AQH or Appaloosa because I really want an excuss to use the below lineart. I have an old account that I previously was breeding appys on that I've been considering re-upgrading. If we go with AQH, I'd have to be looking into other options. For those interstest but busy with the mascot contset, this could be after it concludes. I'm in no big hurry. Feel free to message me or post here with any questions!

I'm also tempted to start a line of Friesians but not with prism since they really don't have much to offer color-wise. Same thing for training, public shows. I would not have an upgrade for this breed so that's why it's more of a question to start them. Again, let me know if anyone has any questions!

I'm always open to partnering just for fun too.

@trig: Deleted my earlier post out of self-conscious reasons, but I still have some Appys I'm just starting out with, most from blitz lines as back-ups, that are open for you. I don't know how to color linearts according to true horse colors, but would be willing to learn.

Against my better judgement I'm go to throw out feeler for some potention partner breeds xD I'm still interested in the AQH from last year but instead of appies, I'm thinking Paints for a secondary option. I've failed at least once with paints in the past but I'm hoping having a partner and with my new job I'll stay invested. Training would still be primarily public training so there isn't a huge finacial commitment right after the mascot contest. Even if you're not sure about doing Prism, I'm happy to hear from anyone interested.
