"She's a great player, has great artwork and is really kind and helpful." ...Interview Questions...Anyone who wins P.o.t.M. can answer as many or all of the questions as they feel comfortable answering! ~...HP Questions...~ 1. How did you first learn about us? Like everyone else, I was disappointed in the changes of HL and wanted something like the "old HL." 2. What is your favorite thing about HP? Getting to own as many horses as I want without having to worry about it being super expensive. 3. How long have you been playing for? I joined in 2011. And I remember playing when I lived in my apartment shortly after I got married in 2015. So I must have been playing up until then. But I came back when I started being a stay home mom in 2020 and have been playing since. 4. How did you come up with your player name? When I came back in 2020, I wanted a new name so I googled "happiness" in other languages because there was a quote hanging in the barn where I first started riding: Happiness is being in the barn. This is exactly how I feel whether I'm riding or not. I liked the sound and look of Nadhima so it kind of stuck since then. It's the Arabic word for happiness. 5. What is your favorite breed of horse or dog to train? Paints! My RL mare, Moxie, is an APHA registered Paint Horse. 6. What caused you to pick the breed(s) you train and breed? Paints - for my girl Arabians - for my favorite horse I learned to ride on, Rozz, an Arabian gelding. My riding instructor who owned him said he should have been mine because he'd do anything for me! Standardbreds - for my sister's RL gelding, Mr. Punch, who died last winter because he slipped on the ice. But he was so sweet! And had such a dopey look to his face, it was adorable! Gypsys - because I wanted a draft of some kind and couldn't decide. I'd breed all of them of I had enough upgrades! But gypsies are a painted draft. The best of both worlds! DWB - because I bred them on HL and named them Dutch Harbor Warm bloods with a Deadliest Catch theme. I decided I wanted to bring them back on here. AQH/QH - because Clinton Anderson's horses are Australian Quarter Horses which don't exist on HP so QH it was! 7. How do you come up with names for your animals? It varies. Christian Contemporary songs, favorite TV series, TV series I'm currently watching that I'm really enjoying, movie characters, just a combo of the sire and dam's name Standardbreds are named after drinks because of Mr. Punch. Punch is a drink. 8. What are your current goals on HP? Enter the horse tix/shows mascot category and gain as many points as I can. I've never done a project to that extent before. 9. Do you have a favorite animal? (It can be your own or another playerβs you admire!) The ones I've entered in mascot the past couple years because they have more points than any of the other animals I've ever trained. Gravestones (#143362) Isla Sorna However, Isla Sorna's mate, Soldier (#345593), has more points because she was a no tix/shows entry and her mate I entered in private shows Baihu (#365403) And then the line I have still going from them because I put in a little more effort in their training than just the regular all 80 public shows 10. Whoβs your go-to graphic artist or coder? Are there any services you offer? Uta and mango - they did my current layout and I love it! I had always wanted a mango layout and I finally bought myself one for my birthday last February. 11. What is your favorite Site-Wide yearly event? 24 days of Christmas! Christmas is my favorite holiday anyways. 12. What other contests or activities do you usually participate in? Egg hunt, trick or treat, and mascot contest since I came back in 2020 13. Do you have any training or breeding tips to share? Not really. I breed at 18 and 20 so I can get 2 hpp from each breeding pair. Most of my animals just go into public shows for training. 14. Which seasonal layout art is your favorite? Winter because it's purple! 15. If you could change one thing about HP, what would it be and why? IDK. I love HP! But if I had to chose something, maybe upgrade auctions be cheaper. I'd probably buy more and then be able to have more draft horse breeds going. 16. What do you spend most of your time on HP doing? Training - I have too many animals! 17. What is your favorite Club? Colored Breeds because PAINTS!!! ~...Real Life & Random Questions...~ 1. Where are you from? Maine - the way life should be Although we're so far north, people always think we're part of Canada. We're not! We're Americans. No offense, blitz. haha Nothing against Canada. 2. Does your place of residence have any sort of quirky history fact or legend/tradition, and if so, what is it? This is the town that a grew up in: Here! It just feels creepy and demonic. 3. What do you do for work? preschool teacher in a Christian school 4. Do you own any horses or dogs? An APHA registered Paint mare, Moxie 5. Do you have any other types of pets at home? A blue parakeet, Skye A clown plecko, Nemo 6. What are your favorite breeds of horse and dog? Paints and drafts Huskies 7. Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they? Riding, baking, playing with my son 8. Whatβs your favorite color? Purple 9. Whatβs your favorite Holiday or Month? Christmas 10. Do you have a favorite vacation spot? If so, what or where is it? Old Orchard Beach, Maine 11. Do you have any special talents? If so, what are they? Sign language 12. If you could own any breed of horse, what would it be and why? I love my Paint! But I'd love to own a draft! 13. If you could own any breed of dog, what would it be and why? A husky! They're just so pretty!! 14. If you could meet any celebrity, who would it be and why? Clinton Anderson. He's my favorite horse trainer. 15. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? To Clinton Anderson's ranch in Texas. 16. What would be your dream job? Therapeutic riding barn would be cool! 17. What would be your dream meal of choice? Anything seafood! 19. What talent do you wish you had? Photomanipulation so I could have a better income on HP. 20. What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Coconut 21. What is something you fear? The world. There's a lot of unbiblical things going on out there nowadays. Not to mention inflation and fear of not being able to afford to feed your family. 22. Whatβs the funniest joke you heard recently? My husbands makes a lot of dad jokes/puns. It keeps me entertained because he's so cheesy. One he made up himself: What's a guy's favorite drink around the holidays? Boo tea (as in booty announciated out real slow haha) Or one my preschoolers like quite well lately - person 1: look under there. person 2: Under where? Person 1: haha you said underwear. I love this age group! They keep me on my toes! 25. Any good movies or shows youβve seen lately? Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and divergent series 26. What is your go-to show to stream? (Via Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.) All of the above and HBO Max - big bang theory, rules of engagement, etc 27. If you could transport yourself to any decade of past history, what would it be and why? When the women stayed home and the men worked. I'd rather be a stay home mom but it's just not really affordable in these days. 28. What is your favorite kind of pizza? Chicken broccoli alfredo 29. If you were an animal, what would you be, and why? A horse because horses are the best duh! 30. What is your favorite recipe/dish/food to make? Desserts are way more fun! Thanks everyone! Of course, since I filled this out, my husband has given me my birthday gift so my favorite vacation spot question might be changing haha. My husband paid for a 5 day stay at the Francis Scott Key Resort in Ocean City, MD in July. I'm excited! Other than its like a 12 hour drive from Maine. But there's a reason for this location! Not to mention this time frame! Any guesses?!  |
