Hey all...

So, I'm back at it again. Many many moons ago, I started out playing Horseland (before the changes)... Does that give you any idea how old I might be? Oof. I played many other games since then; Spiffy Horse, EqCetera/Horse Fable, Equiverse, Hunt&Jump, Howrse, Flying for Home, and I'm sure I have accounts many more places. Basically, if it exists, I probably have an account somewhere. In the last 10 or so years, I've had trouble finding a game I can stick to. I'll play for a little bit, get busy with real life, then lose interest because I feel like I'll never be able to make up the ground my pixels lost while I was away. Darn HL, making me only want to have the best horses and finding no other value unless I can...

I generally go by a barn name of snowdrift farm, always lowercase because back when I was a cool kid, nobody ever used capitals for their usernames or barn names and it's just kind of stuck. On top of my pixel ponies, I've also gotten very into model horses as I've gotten older (I was going to say they're less expensive than real horses but sometimes I wonder... at least they don't have vet bills). I've started photo showing models as well, and always show with a prefix of sdf just like my brand in all the games. On HP, I'm going to be sticking with haflingers as an homage to my real life horse that I lost a couple years ago now due to a couple chronic health issues. Let's see what how long I can convince myself to keep at it...

Welcome! There are a ton of HL alumni here as well as some of the other sims (RIP Spiffy Horse xD). I used to collect and play with Breyers growing up but they're all in storage from when I moved out. I do know there are several active model horse collecters on HP though so I'm sure they'll catch wind of this soon!

Some days are busier than others but feel free to pop into chat!

Welcome to HP! I also had a hard time sticking to games since HL until I found HP. Now the only difference is I have adult money to spend which gets me into more trouble than staying up all night on HL as a kid did xD

I'm also a model horse collector. What's your main collection?  Mine is Breyer traditionals although I've a few Classics and Stablemates.
