So I have been tracking my 2 Appaloosas for the last few days that are entered in 80 private shows a week.... and while I am no math whiz, I feel like the points gained each night are not adding up to double points. While I could very much be mistaken....am I the only one noticing something is going on with the points or has anyone else noticed anythingas well?

Just popping in to say that my calculator was programmed before there were a bunch of adjustments made to public shows, and before I realized there was a gray area around the points that one of the places earns (I don't remember which place). Taking that and the possibility that my math/programming might've been wrong, I would take what it says with a grain of salt ^^

Edit to say that I think the misunderstanding here is in regards to at what point in the stage the doubling occurs. According to Blitz, the doubling happens during placing. So taking this as an example: https://prnt.sc/yxX2NS17i7ce

1640 (10th place) x 1.5 (upgrade/breed specialty) = 2460 is correct HOWEVER during double points month, the points are doubled in place of the 1.5. So
1640 x 1.5 = 2460 x 2 = 4920 is incorrect.
1640 x 2 = 3280 is correct.

Therefore, given 10th place in 100 privates, you should be earning 328,000 points per week, not 492,000 (not including entrance points) ^^

Oh yeah Mango - that was absolutely part of the issue. XD The main part of the issue was my brain is a scrambled mess most days due to the numerous trains of thoughts and then it picked numbers to hyper fixate on and I couldn't make it make sense to myself and it was driving me insane. Numbers usually get me when I can't get them in any sort of logical order in my brain - typically speaking of course. This comes down to my budgets, my bills, ect too. This completely mind f*cked me in the worst way and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to come right until you guys so I appreciate yall so much.

ALSO I did end with more than 2m points gained! In past years I see that I cut my shows down to having 6 dogs in them max to max points gained which is why it was hit with ease in the past and a little rough this year - but still possible. :D
