Healthy snacks?

Phew! I am really struggling with working from home, and snacking on HEALTHY snacks. I feel like I will do really well for a week, and then it all goes to crap!


Does anyone have any healthy snacks that they love, and don't tire of quickly? I try to do the veggie snacks, which I LOVE, but I get tired of eating the same thing all the time.


Throw those ideas at me! Please? :)

I do best with healthy snacking if I've prepped everything out so I can just grab and go. Washing/cutting fruits and veggies, buying a dip or making it ahead of time, mixing up salads, pre portioning out amounts.


Snacks I like to have: Popcorn, slice of toast with cottage cheese and everything bagel seasoning, sometimes topped with sliced cucumber, no bake energy balls/granola bars, greek yogurt with chia seeds and sometimes fruit, hard boiled eggs.

Those are some good ideas eti. I do eat a lot of veggies and fruit already, but eating just a bannana or apple gets old haha. I have never tried toast with cottage cheese, I love cottage cheese though, I may have to try it!

I keep crackers and small pots of dip on hand, healthy ones if possible. Then I just chug water all day to make me feel like my tummy is full.

I am so bad at drinking water! I have a bottle sitting right beside me all day long and most days I don't even get through it. :(

i make egg white bites for snacks at home by blending egg whites & cottage cheese together.  I don't like cottage cheese generally, but you don't notice it in these... I use the good culture brand, not sure if that makes any difference, but it was reccomended and I liked the final product, so -shrugs-

add in whatever you would like, but if you're diet conscious, just remember the fat in cheese & bacon adds up pretty quick, so I would try to limit at least the bacon if you can stand it :)

I add in some sort of combination of broccoli, spinach, peppers, onions, mushrooms, or diced green beans (sounds weird, but it works)

i also drink for a snack a cup of sipping bone broth.  it's more bland than I thought it would be, but it fills me up for a little while.  easy way to get a little extra protein too.

Moorf have you tried flavoured water? 


I snack on nuts. Because salted isn't the healthiest (but the best tasting!) I make my own 60/40 blend of plain and salted.

I have a thing for roated chick peas lately, with moroccan seasoning. Divine!

I know if I drank more water, I wouldn't be hungry all the time. And I know I may not actually be hungry, but bored. It's a never ending battle lol

I am trying. I got a new water bottle that has those goal's to reach by the hour, and it is helping me more.

I have to force myself to drink enough water daily to try to combat migraines and it really is a battle! Sometimes I'll use a lot of flavor enhancers or electrolyte packets, but just having a water bottle within arms reach and forcing myself to take sips often is what does best for me. I also keep 2-3 bottles around the house so I don't have to remember to carry one around with me. The usual spots are in the kitchen, next to my bed, and on the coffee table. I need to get a smaller one to take with me in the car because mine are too big for the cup holder.

Yeah that's a good method! I put a dash of diet rite cordial or lemon in mine to keep me interested!
