On the 31st of May, my beloved cat Sherbert died. This is also the reason I haven't been around, as Sherbert was very ill. He was sick with kidney disease as well as a urinary blockage and just could not be saved, so he was put to sleep. We cremated him on June 2 (had to wait to get the money. Prices are ridiculous) and his ashes will be back in a couple of weeks.

On happier news, we got another cat, an angel kitty, you might say on June 3. She is 14 months old and is a Bombay cat. We got her from the shelter. It seems she was homed at one time, due to how social she is, then let out as a stray. She was on the streets for who knows how long, when she was picked up by Animal Control Services. She was pregnant and about 9 or 10 months.

She was fostered until her 4 kittens were born. They have all been adopted. She was then moved to the Animal Defense League shelter for adoption, which is where we took her to her furever home.

We renamed her Namira (na-mirra) or (nami-ra)

I'm so sorry about Sherbert! 

The new baby is super precious, though!

I am so sorry about your baby, KG! I hope Namira helps your heart heal. I love her big eyes. So cute.
