Juice cleanse!

Hey y'all... I wanna start juicing! I have a juicer, so I'm basically just looking for any good recipes, suggestions or tips! Thanks in advance :)

Throw anything in. 

Literally. Anything of the fruit/vegi variety.. I mean raw potatoes are going to taste gross ;) but everything else. 

I really like apple, baby green spinnach, celery and whatever else is looking a bit limp in my fridge xD Carrots are great! I seriously dislike kale and ginger but they are viable options for people with more amicable taste buds :) 

I luurrvveee adding celery tho as it kinda waters it down. I find pure fruit juice to be a bit intense. OH MY GOD Watermellon. I forgot - put watermellon in anything. Watermellon juice is life. watermelon juice is love xD Icy cold on a hot day is just superb. I also love lemon in stuff :) 

 

QUICK HEALTH THING. From a biochemistry stand point. Your body literally cannot maintain itself on a juice-only diet and I seriously do not recomend undertaking one. Juice is amazing as a quick brecky or to go with your morning eggs but don't just drink juice for days.. Trust mah science face that its not a good plan ^^

Yeah, don't do juice cleanses.. they just blow your metabolism to pieces and if you do happen to lose weight, it will all come back once you start eating how you usually do. Also, juice is completely stripped of it's fibre, which is also really bad because fibre is really good for you and people don't get enough! Juice is fine to have, but don't JUST have juice, and especially don't rely on juice for all of your fruit/veggie intake. I usually make a smoothie for breakfast, with mixed berries, banana, orange juice/almond milk and almond yogurt. I highly recommend smoothies with fresh fruit over juicing, and make it vegan if you're looking for a 'cleansing' effect, because dairy is the opposite of cleansing haha
