New Feature: Pay-to-Accept Private Show Service

Starting tomorrow (Sunday, August 13th, 2023), I will officially be introducing a new feature to HP...a Pay-to-Accept Private Show Service.

Last week, I put this forth as a suggestion in the forums, to see what players thought of the idea, and as well to get any feedback on aspects of implementing this that I and the other admins might not have thought of. There were no marinara-red flags brought up, so I'm going to go ahead and activate it as a feature.

Here are 4 W's (and two H's) as to what I'm talking about...

Who?

I, Blitz, will be manually providing this feature.

What is it?

The feature is an "opt-in" service where I will accept a player's private shows for them via the database (which only Sam and I have access to) when/if the player has paid to use the service for that particular week. This would mean, if you chose to use the service for any given week, you pay and I accept your private shows for you on as many accounts as you want me to. You can only request the service for your own shows on accounts you own, not shows your animals are in of someone else's!

When will you do this?

Twice weekly, on Mondays between 9-10pm and Thursdays between 9-10pm, I will go through and whoever has paid ("opted in") for that week will have their submitted show numbers accepted. Those are the only two times each week I will do this...I WILL NOT be doing it at any other times that particular week if you miss the cut-off.

Why are you doing this?

It was brought up in the Feedback/Suggestions for July that me being able to accept my shows this way while no one else can wasn't fair, so I decided that this was a happy medium, where I can continue to accept my own shows the way I have for years, while making it fair to others and giving others the option of also having their shows accepted this way. And yes, I too will be paying for this service going forward if I want to use it.

How much will this cost?

$500k HPD per show you want accepted (regardless of if it is a private dog or horse show). Why so expensive? This is meant to be a bonus feature like anything in the cash shop. It's not essential to game play, but is an added perk you can pay extra for. The money goes to Sam much like Cash Shop or Store stuff does, not to me and my player bank account.

How do I opt in?

Any time before one of the accepting dates/times each week, send $500k/show you want accepted to Account #1. After you have done that, send a message to Account #1 with a list of all of the show ids only you want accepted. All show IDs must be in a column list with JUST the ID numbers, not the names of the shows, any symbols (aka (), #, etc). I will then accept your shows on one of the two above days/times, and will reply to you letting you know it is done. Show accepting this way means you and/or anyone requested in your shows will not get a million show accepted messages in your inbox, which is why I will let you know once your shows are done.
