Hello! I have recently returned from a few unintended months away due to real life hitting me in the face with a frying pan.

My job made my schedule real wonky which cut my play time for almost any game to almost nil. Then my sister lost her job in July, got evicted at the end of September and I stepped in to house her and her 2 cats. But she is still struggling to find a job while I am struggling to keep 2 people and 5 cats afloat on a 1 person-3 cat salary.

So while I am back, I am having to downsize my upgraded accounts for the foreseeable future. I really don't want to run afoul of the 5 basic account rule, but I haven't spotted anywhere I can close/delete an account or any info on such in the help pages. Is closing/deleting an account even available? For now I have marked the accounts I am not going to be using as Inactive and will no longer be logging into them unless I am going in to re-upgrade them once my finances improve. If there is anything else I can do for this or if I am completely blind in spotting such features, please let me know!

I believe you can send Blitz a list of the accounts you don't want (and maybe the link to this forum?). They'll be listed as 'BANNED' under your list of linked accounts, so if you ever want to re-upgrade them just message her again which one(s)!

You can message either of the mods the account numbers and they can ban them for now. :)

You let blitz know which ones to freeze/close for a bit (there be banned but if there rereqested to be banned thwy can be unbanned) then when you want them unfrozen you just let blitz know again

For reference, any Mod (Purple Paw badge) or Admin (Golden Horseshoe badge) can ban accounts, but to to gain access back into those accounts for future use you will have to contact an Admin to get them un-banned. :)

You can always send one of us a message or use the little report link on the specific account page and request for it to be banned which would then be sent to our Mod panel where one of us will take care of it.

Everyone's pretty much answered this but...

You can...

- message anyone listed under Content Moderator or Administrator on the Meet the Team page (bottom of every page!)

- report your own account using the report link on the player page and say "please ban to keep me under 5 basics" or some variation

I am not in fact THE person to ask!

Before you do this, make sure to move any money/animals off the account, and save any layouts you may want to keep!

Also, for the record, if you need to unban in the future, only Admins can do that!
