Spring showers, dewdrops glisten 

Peonies bloom and flower 

Rising through the air, a floral bouquet.

Iridescent colours, over the meadows grow

New life, lambs frolick and play

Green the grass, that once was mud

Spring is here

But I don't cheer

It's still cold

So I'm winter clothed.

But birds are singing

As they are beginning 

To nest.

Indiana Spring

Nothing but a false hope
One day sunny fling,
Next day nope.

Flowers poke through the earth
But greeted by nothing but a white snow and so forth.

But alas, the little roots would retreat.
