March Breed Spotlight

It's the BEST month of the year for the Breed Spotlight! Why, you ask? Because one of this month's breed spotlights was named after ME! The other breed spotlight would also like you to know that it did not in fact start the fire... ;) (iykyk)

The March Spotlight Breeds are...

Canablitz - Created in 2013 to honor Blitz' birthday, the Canablitz is black like a Canadian Horse with a spotted blanket pattern like an Appaloosa, feathers like a Clydesdale, and a rainbow unicorn horn.

Flameta - The Flameta was created in 2016. It is a horse with fire for a mane and tail. More can be learned about them and their inspiration here.

As Spotlight breeds, both breeds have been moved to the Store for this week, before they will return to the Cash Shop until this time next year!

Reminder

This is just a reminder that any transactions, agreements, partnerships, etc. that are agreed to between players on any platform outside of Horse Phenomena are not protected by the game and its rules, terms of service, etc. 

What does this mean? This means that if you make any sort of agreement with another player while on another platform, and they hack your account as a result, steal from you, go back on their word, not deliver any promised "goods" you've prepaid for, etc, we the HP mods and admins cannot help you. We cannot accept any proof, screenshots, etc. of these discussions that didn't occur on HP.

Example: Blitz and Koni, while chatting on the (unofficial!) HP Discord, decide to enter the mascot contest's ticket category. Blitz offers up an upgrade to do the training on, gives Koni the login info and pwc, and you both decide to do the contest with one of Blitz's super-private Sam-descendant Crossbreed horse lines. All of this is discussed on Discord both through the HP Discord server and through Discord private chats. Three weeks into the contest, Blitz goes onto her upgrade to request some tickets for Sam Jr. the team mascot entry only to find it's gone, the money she put onto the account for the horse is gone, and the tickets have been sold too. Blitz is upset and messages BV about it with screenshots of the original discussions. What will BV tell her? That there's not much that can be done because there's no proof of the partnership agreement on HP itself. 

Obviously we can't stop players from talking off HP. We wouldn't even want to. We also love that players chat on other platforms, and that there's even an HP Discord! That's not what we're trying to say or prevent. You are still welcome to talk about HP and make HP plans and partnerships on platforms like Facebook and Discord, but please keep in mind the above! If you do come to an agreement with a player off HP, I recommend messaging the player on HP as well re-confirming what you agreed to off-site, and have them in turn agree that that was what was discussed. 

This is the best way to protect yourself and your game assets!
