Okay, all, so hear me out: cinnamon baked apple slices. https://thegardeningcook.com/cinnamon-baked-apple-slices/ They totally count as healthy because apples. So feel free to double-up on all the stuff there that makes them taste delicious, because obviously the apple negates calories. ;)

Okay I have to post this, but.. hear me out cause we just got a smoker this past december and this has been a huge hit! You could probably make it in the oven but... idk if it would taste the same! Smoked bacon wrapped pickles! You need: 1 package of bacon 1 jar of pickles(we use the spear cut) cream cheese danos seasoning(you could probably use a pork seasoning or anything else really) tooth picks -- I spread the cream cheese on the uncooked bacon, wrap around the pickle and use tooth picks to secure the bacon to each end of the pickle. Cook in smoker till the bacon is browned and crispy and ta da! They are soooooo good! Points here please: https://horsephenomena.com/horses.php?id=414834 |

I made these just the other day. You can also make a cake out of it. I included measurements and all for those not in the USA. ORANGE MUFFINS Ingedients 1 box yellow cake mix 1 cup (250ml) orange juice in place of water 1/2 cup (125ml) of oil 3 eggs 3 tsp (15ml) orange extract 1 small orange zest 2 or 3 drops of orange food coloring (optional) Cooking 1. Set oven to 350° f (180° c) 2. In muffin trays, line with muffin cups 3 Beat all ingrediants together--EXCEPT food coloring--on medium speed for 2 minutes 4 Add the food coloring and still in another 30 seconds or so 5 Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes or so. Check with fork or toothpick to make sure its done. 6 Remove from oven and set aside to cool. Frosting 2tbsp (15ml) unsalted butter 2 1/4 cups (560ml) powedered sugar (I think it's called icing sugar across the pond and other lands) 3tbsp (15ml) orange juice small orange zest Putting It Together 1 Beat butter until ligh and fluffy. It helps to keep it out of the fridge (yes, we do that in the US) for about an hour to mix better 2 Gradually add in sugar, followed by orange juice and zest 3 Beat until it forms a nice thick consistancy. Add a drop or two of food coloring when beating. Put frosting (icing?) in a decorating bag with a tip and decorate away. Yield should be about 24 - 30 cupcakes. Here is a picture:

One of my all time favorite breakfast casserole recipes. Hubby and I LOVE breakfast and could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So any time I go to a potluck I always make something like this xD p.s. the original recipe also called for onion and bell pepper but hubby and I are picky so I took it out- but I assume if you are not as picky it would definitely add some additional flavor (: INGREDIENTS 1 pound sausage 1 pound bacon 1 dozen eggs 1/2 cup milk 2 cups grated cheddar 1 tablespoon Frank's red hot 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper INSTRUCTIONS 1. Brown the sausage in a large skillet, crumbling as it cooks. Drain grease and set aside. 2. Dice the bacon into bite-sized chunks and cook in a large skillet, stirring often, until crisp. Drain the grease and set aside. 3. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick spray. 4. Crack the eggs into a large mixing bowl and add the milk. Whisk together until well combined. 5. Stir in the sausage, bacon, cheddar, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined. 6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes or until eggs are set and edges are golden brown. 7. Let cool 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
