With so many contests going on such as Puzzle Pants, I would like to suggest that when their closure dates have passed, the topic be marked as closed. I find it confusing trying to work out which I have participated in and which I haven't. 

BV already does this with the Mascot Contest games, which I like.

Obvious ones such as the Photography Contest wouldn't need marked because they're month long.

And maybe a "prizes have been awarded for this event" as well could be nice!

I used to be in the habit of posting that prizes had been awarded but that kinda fizzled out over time. X'D Can definitely get back to doing that, though!

I like this idea as well. I am still waiting on points from some contests

Prior to now, Mods and Admins were the only ones who could close threads on the forum. And delete them.

I broke the forum for 5 minutes max just now, but ECs can now close their own posts only. They can't delete anything though. 

Also tested this by modding my Goldens account (to see what they could currently do in the forums) then EC-ing the same account to use to test my attempts to program this suggestion. Surprisingly wasn't hard to code in so yay!
