so it's finally summer!
what are some of your favorite summer activities and/or traditions you do?

i normally like going to the beach, but during summer is when i'm able to get a bunch of people together and make a huge beach day with everyone. we'll have food, games, of course some drinks, and if there's a good amount of people out when the sun is setting, we'll have a bonfire.

^{My favourite Summer activity/tradition is packing up the little family in the car and heading to Phillip Island/San Remo on the Victorian coast and spending the day at the beach, having fish and chips on the foreshore and exploring the nature reserves. Also barbecues, lots and lots of them.} 

It's still spring in the UK. :P

My favourite thing to do in the summer is to go trial riding and packing up the horses and the horse trailer and going to rodeos and camping and also spending time at the beach and eating watermelon and sharing it with Cooper. I also enjoy spending time with my 2 doggos! 

My dad has a cabin up north, so every holiday weekend during the summer (memorial, July 4th, and labor day) we all meet up there. It's a long drive, but the kids have so much fun. It's in the middle of nowehere so there's no internet, we all just spend all day outside. Bbq's, hiking, there's a lake not too far away, games, making ice cream. :)

My favorite thing to do is when summer thunderstorms come in, I like to sit outside and watch the storm roll in until it starts to rain. Sadly storms here are fewer each year. We get a lot of rain each year, but the thunder and lightning storms seem to be fewer and fewer. On days it's not too hot or humid I also like to walk in a local park.

It's still Spring here. Summer doesn't start until June 21st. But my favorite summer activity (besides spending time in the barn) is going to the beach: long walks through the sand, wading through the waves, building sandcastles with my boy, Pier fries with cheddar cheese, fresh squeezed lemonade, evenings filled with old fashioned arcade games on the pier.

Definitely the beach. I usually go every weekend when it's nice and have a cookout and play some games with friends!

Cussing at the neighbors who keep setting off the illegal fireworks at all hours of the day and night...that counts right? They don't care if we're in the city, nooo, just big booms! Soo annoying! xD

Wearing my flip flops and enjoying the breeze. We go to the beach during the winter months because the summer months here there's just too many people and it's not as peaceful. I don't care if the water is freezing, I'll still walk up to my knees in it.

We either go dirt track racing(other half races) or camping. When we're not working that is.

family vacation to the carribean, trips to the lake while boating and late summer rides. Loving the the fact that the sun isn't setting until 9 pm so I can ride late without freezing!

Ohhh I love summer!! I am a sun baby for sure. I love laying out in my pool literally all day, soaking up the sun and tanning. I love tanning. Ugh! love it. An ice cold beer in the pool, on a floatie. One of my happy places! 

We also go out on the SXS a lot more during the summer than winter, obviously lol. It's always fun!
