So I've been a gym member for 3 years now and back at the start I did their kickstart plan but found it HEAVILY restrictive, outdated and basically could push you into an ED for sure. It wanted you to eat 20g porridge in the am or 1.5 weetabix for breakfast, lunch and dinner then you had to choose which one you could have carbs with... crazy stuff considering this was only a short time ago. Regardless to say, I was reluctant to do it again as it's not sustainable weightloss at all but I had heard a new nutritionist had started and the plan had gotten better so I decided to book an appointment and see and it has improved so yay.

You also get 2 classes a week and a pt along with full gym membership for the 6 weeks.

I lost 2lbs in the first week so hopefully I can keep it up. My motivation is a wedding I have in just under 4 weeks time so even if I could lose half a stone by then I'd be delighted. I do have a week off work that I'm away for but I must be strong haha. After the wedding I have a summer holiday to Rhodes in Greece in September so crossing all my fingers and toes I can finally get back to feeling happy within my self. The number doesn't matter so much I just want to feel more comfortable and not worried about the way I feel in clothes.

It's all such a struggle but hopefully the kickstart has done it's job by the end of the 6 weeks haha

*this is basically an accountability post for myself*
