suggestion/feedback summary, june 2024

Every month, by request, I will be making a post summarizing that month's anonymous suggestions/feedback, and my response to them. Each submission will have also been shared with the other admins for their feedback as well (especially if the submission specifically pertains to their job), and their views are also expressed here in my summary, as indicated. Feedback from other admins is in their words...I just copy and paste it into the post.

#1: When we breed two animals and it results in twins, is there any way that we could be linked to the pages of each offspring (like when there's a single birth) instead of it taking us to the stable/kennel?

...Maybe? I will add it to my list of things to look at if I can figure it out!

#2: I know sellers for upgrades get the HPD but it would be nice to get something like HPB like the buyers get? Especially when you are a frequent seller. Some of us try to upgrade our own accounts or buy HPB or buy it from others but sometimes it’s hard to do so. So it would be kinda neat to get them for upgrades we sell, even if it’s only half of what the buyer gets if that makes sense.

At this time we aren't looking to make any changes to the upgrade auction transactions. Even giving the seller half the amount the buyer gets would be adding more HPB into circulation on HP when there's already a large amount there.

#3: Is there any way a list of what prizes we have from staff events (like discount candy day, etc) can be listed somewhere so that we can see them? I know we can message Blitz to get a list, but she's frequently busy, and I always try to write it down for my notes but then it gets disorganized (read: I forget to cross something off after using it...) and it's just a mess. Something where staff and that indivual player can see what's available?

At this point the only way to find out would be to contact Blitz (although really you could contact any of the admins for a list, not just me!). For what it's worth, I'm off right now until the end of August, so I have a lot more time to be doing stuff like making those lists. I recommend keeping track in your player notes at the bottom of your page what you have from each event, then you can just delete it from the list as you use it, and always have it there on your page to see!

Sorry for the delay on posting this this month...I was trying to wait for the server migration to happen in case someone suggested something that involves me coding. I'm trying to not code anything new or work on my "to look at" list for HP stuff on the back end of things until after that's done, in case I do something, then they undo it with the migration!

Update: I've just successfully wrangled the code to make it so you get links to each twin when you get twins, not the stable/kennel it was! Yippee!
