Cleveland Bay - added 9/8

I would love for the Cleveland Bay to be added to the game! Developed in the Cleveland area of Yorkshire, England, the Cleveland Bay is said to be the oldest of the English horse breeds, and the only horse native to Britain that does not belong to the heavy horse group. The closest breed in type is the Irish Draught which shares common ancestors with the Cleveland Bay. As Englands oldest breed of horse they have an impressive history that goes back from before records were kept. It is an incredibly versatile horse that can turn its hoof to all disciplines. The horses are always bay in colour, although a few light hairs in the mane and tail are characteristic of some breed lines. They are expected to have black points and no white markings are accepted other than a small white star on the forehead. Height ranges 16.0-16.2hh. The breed is known for being incredibly docile with an excellent temperament. Cleveland Bays are also a chosen breed for carriage horses in the royal stables. Unfortunately they are now a rare breed and have been steadily declining worldwide. Let's bring back the love for these beautiful horses! interested breeders 1. magicflame 2. Oak 3. Me too along with knabstruppers and lusitano :D If you ever start another breed then hopefully you'll consider Cleveland Bays! I've messaged Koni so I'm hoping they"l be added soon |
