So how snowed in are you guys? From the sound of it like... Half of North America is buried at the moment.

I thought it'd be funny to have a crazy weather picture swap thread. LMFAO

Today's the first day that I have ever had to call off from work due to inclement weather in 5 years. I mean usually I can make it in, however late, but uh... There's a semi cab in our parking lot that can't even get out. I don't think my boyfriend's focus is gonna make it. And snow around the car is between my shins and knees and there's a foot or so ON the car and... yeah no.

Ummmm so today it kind of rained just a little bit and thr trams were all late. I think i need to show melbourne these pictures so the city can cowgirl up haha

There was fog today, and a smidge of rain.  So exciting!!! I WANT A SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got about a foot yesterday! I'll update with pictures of the carnage later :).

It all went north of me! We had rain, then snow mixed with rain, turned to slush, and then froze over. Roads were slick this morning and the public schools closed for the day, but other than that no fluffy white stuff hanging around here. *sad*

Had over a foot of snow from Winter storm Juno, today we got 16" here in Northern Connecticut! 

My family was returning from southern Missouri, heading back to Minnesota. We had to stay in Kansas City an extra night. Got back this evening. We drove through Des Moines and there were seriously 100 cars in the ditch from yesterday's storm. Seriously. It was IN-SANE!! And here in MN, it hardly even snowed! xD STILL not enough for snowmobiling...argh!!

Barely an inch of snow here in London, but as usual, the transport system can't cope. Got to work an hour late!

Figured I'd just make a new post with photos.

This is a day later after the snow stopped. This is a semi-main road crossing another semi-main road, the cars in front of me are stuck or got into a crash or something.

We got about 9 inches total, and we are supposed to get 1-3 more in the morning. Which should be fun since our neighborhood is still not plowed!

I didn't really go out in the middle of the storm (well, actually I did for buffalo wings, but I didn't take pictures) so I've also grabbed some of the news photos of the storm since it was pretty bad and the plows could not keep up.

We did have a crash on the interstate with about 7 tractor-trailors, in addition to all of the "normal" crashes. And they closed the interstate around Lincoln (capitol, maybe 45 minutes from me on a good day). Like I-80, the actual interstate, not just a highway, haha. We also had about 16,000 customers with no power and lots of trees come down.

All in all, it wasn't abnormal for Nebraska (a super heavy snowfall for overnight, but not out of the range of normal), but it's been a couple of years since we've gotten snow like this. Our winters have been strangely mild as of late.

We have now added a wall of ice to our balcony... aaaaaand we're due for more snow over the weekend. About a foot ish so far and they're talking another 1-3"

But considering that 12 was supposed to be 5-8" I'm not getting my hopes up.

Did everyone survive the arctic blast?!  I think it was -4 with -33 windchill yesterday at work.. This morning same thing with pipes bursting.. and an early baby that amazingly survived the brutal cold! 

Soooo tired of winter! Where is summer?!
