So my partner, Four Sail wants to take up a horse breed that has a small breeding community which I don't mind, the only issue is I don't know which breeds have that. She doesn't want to do a popular breed like paint, arab, tb, etc. but like a semi-popular one. So can anyone help me out by listing which breeds would fall under that category? (Since I get to pick the breed we're going to do.)

any breed on the official hp crossbreed list. most popular breeders allow acceptable crosses also to expand lines
night-mares (i have 20) and own the top pointed of the breed currently. i believe there are 4-5 active trainers/breeders
need to check my ages but i may do some backups with them if there is interest

There's a couple breeders (other than myself) that breed Walkaloosas and Suffolk Punches. I don't know if you consider that too small a community. I also breed Campolinas but there's only one other breeder besides myself right now for them.

I consider any breed that has more than 3 breeders something with a small community, generally I have nothing but rares so I haven't the slightest clue.

I have Sugarbush Drafts on one of my spares. There's only 15 of them under the age of 20 on the site (4 are mine!), so that might be a smaller group than you seem to be interested in. I'd never even heard of the breed until HP haha.

@Luca Kerberos - yea, I would say that the Sugarbush is a little to small for what Four wants.

Alright after a lot of thought and debating and well time going to other things in rl, I have finally decided on a horse breed, whoo~!

So Four and I will be joining the NZ Warmblood breeding community starting the 24th (so I can finish training my other animals today)
