No power at our house here, likely will be out until Tuesday dues to extensive tree damages around here, but fortunately have options for power elsewhere and no major damages to home, people, and pups ❤️

ooof! Hang in there! I'm glad there was no major damage to the important things!

West coast Floridian here. Thankfully everything is fine at my home, we were so lucky this time around. But I work pretty close to the beach area and it is devastating down there. One of my coworkers lost her house and car to the storm surge.

Winston-Salem area of NC here. We were very lucky and didn't get any damage or major flooding here. So my family is safe 💕 

My dad is on storm call with his electric company in Georgia though. So he's staying busy! 
My parents place in SC is safe - just some downed trees in the woods along their property. 
My sister in law and her fiancé in Jacksonville area of Florida are also safe thankfully! 

I know it's been a few days since anyone has replied so I'm hopeful that means our community of people is safe ♥ But I wanted to reach out again and offer any help if there is someone in need!

Stay safe and hang in there everybody, there's another monster storm headed straight for my area in a couple days.

off topic a bit but what i need right now is my paycheck coming in on time they deninded my hours but then took them late(only by an day) but still hoping they pay me on time

To all those in the Southern US who have faced the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene, my heart is with you. As a Dutchie, I cannot fully imagine the fear and pain that comes with such a powerful storm, but know that you are not alone in your suffering. For those who have lost loved ones or their homes, I send my deepest sympathies, and for those still recovering, I wish you strength and resilience.

As some of you brace for the next hurricane, please take all necessary precautions and listen to safety advisories. Your safety and the safety of your loved ones is what matters most. Stay safe, look after each other, and reach out if you need help. I am hoping and praying for calmer days ahead for all of you.
