anyone in the path of the one gotta hit / has hit / will hit? are you out of the way, any furbabys / critters you have with you and are safe? i heard it gonna be bad where rancers are getting desprite and making choiced they shouldnt have to do.

Anyone who was in the path of the one that hit areas a week or two back ok as well?

My parents are on the east coast, Port Saint Lucie area, and I just got off the phone with them and they said just by the feeder bands alone their area was hit by 13 large tornadoes.  I'm not going to sleep tonight, I'm just going to be worried sick.   I hope all my HP Floridians are okay 🙏

My in laws are riding it out in the villages near orlando. we talked to them earlier and they said there was just a ton of rain for now.

Good news is it made landfall as a category 3 hurricane.  Still dangerous situation but not as bad hopefully as it could be.  

But i am safe in the middle of the prairies where litteraly nothing happens. Stay safe everyone

From this point it will only decrease more. Hurricanes lose all their power when they hit land.

Ive been watching tik tok videos they seem all ok, so who knows.  but i have no idea.  just want i read and see online.  it went from the a category 5 hurricane at landfall to a Category 4 at landfull but it was only a category 3 at landfull which in the grand scheme of things is good.  But the main issue is the storm surge with the rising water.  

It'll be the aftermath of rising waters and such that'll be the real issue. Milton went from a beast of a storm to a wimp when it hit land. lol In the scale of hurricanes this is an easy one to ride out.

im just glad it did downgraded, and now florida is bracing for another hurricane next week.

So I was on the north west side of the storm and we got all the heavy rain and winds, no storm surge thankfully. I am safe, no power and spotty cell service. But not too far from where I am it basically took out an entire mobile home park. The person I'm staying with lost her entire fence in her backyard and there are downed trees everywhere you look. I ventured out a few minutes ago because my car is running low on gas and I turned up the street, saw the largest tree I've ever seen in my life blocking the entire four lanes of traffic and noped my way back to the house. 😄

glad your ok. I know theres at least one hp player who is/near the affcted area. not sure if they were an player or still play. anyways if anyone who been effcted but these storms if you need help reach out alot of the players here will help on the hp keeping things on track part.

Has anyone heard from Ephemira?  I know she's a bit north of my parents and that area also was affected by tornadoes yesterday.  

if she the one anther hper has heard from they marked safe. not sure who pike knows in the area) but who ever she has on her fb was marked safe. i wish i knew who pike was talking about. is there anyone who can check in with any players they know who may be in the areas hit?

we're good, we have a lot of down trees, and the tornaods destroyed downtown vero, leaving behind multiple buildings without a roof, flipped cars, numerous down power lines, railroad crossing arms down and ripped up trees/shrubs. we have a lot of canals to help reduce flooding in the area, and even those were overflowing, and water was spuing up from a manhole cover when i drove by yesterday morning to see the damages. 

we lost internet wednesday afternoon, and it only just started working again this morning. my power was out from 1am, and didn't come back on until 8pm last night; i've been without power once for several weeks, so i was grateful for that. 
i know a lot of homes near our river and on beachside were destroyed, and i know a few people i work with had flooding and lost all their furniture unfortunately. 

i'm glad all of yalls friends and family in the areas are safe! i'll try to post some pictures later today or over the weekend.
