Hey guys, I have been around for a while but I am new to all this extra stuff. I was a part of Mango's fruit punch thing but now that she had to close I am trying to get something done on my own. 

How do you guys set up your private shows? I only have 4 accounts available to do private shows but how many spots do you offer in each show? Do the people send you money separately or do you make the show prices for however much advertised? I feel like these are such simple questions but I hope someone can help me out. 

If someone could just layout how they do it in simple terms I would be grateful!

I feel like 10 spots for show is the most common

People send money separately (usually 400-500k for a horse show spot and 200-250k for a dog show spot)

Or you could advertise them as whole shows, and see if you get any bites for that, too!

The game doesn't allow you to set show entry fees higher than 5,000 which obviously is way under the normal 400k-500k price per horse or the 200k-250k per dog. So if you didn't have player send you the whole sum separately, then you would be losing money.

this makes sense, I wasnt even aware it wouldnt let me go that high

it's pretty hard to sell spots. I have 20 shows and I have had no luck filling the empty spots. I had thought about starting a new thing like the mango/ mystery shows but i'm not sure if there would be enough people to do it or even enough people to fill the spots.

Farewell I really wish I could talk to Mango about how she did it because she always seemed to be able to make me a couple million a week at least. 

I would be interested in buying full shows of dog and horse 

shows and spots will sell better when the mascot contest starts in February

@farewell and @piston, I'd be interested in pooling our resources, and starting up something like the fruit punch shows (have to figure out a different name since Fruit Punch was Mango's creative mind/trademark).

@N.aima maybe we could group something together? 

I'd be happy to run something if there was interest and enough people. I have 20 and I know nad has 20, so we really only need 40 more to offer a full 80 shows.

I had been thinking of starting something since mango had kind of disappeared because it was a good idea and I was sure it had helped a lot of people.

I was trying to think of clever names tonight: 

- Holy Cannoli Shows (then name each set of 20 shows a different cannoli flavor)

- Garden Salad or Garden Vegetables (then name each set of 20 a different vegetable)

- Pasta Salad (then name each set of 20 a different component that you can add to a pasta salad)

- or in keeping with Mangos fruit theme: Fruit Salad, Fruit Cocktail, Fruit Juice

ooh those are cleaver nad! An idea I had was sopmething with pizza and do pizza toppings.

Oh yeah, I didn't even think of pizza!

I think my favorite might be the Holy Cannoli one.
