Meet Ben!

Hey ya'll, I can't remember if I ever made a post introducing my menace, so here this is. Bendigo (Ben or Bendigo James when he's in trouble) is a mustang gelding from Little Owyhee, Nevada. He was born in holding atΒ BLM facility. He's 16.3 hands, 1400lbs and too smart for his own good. We suspect he's a draft cross, possibly with some spanish influence, but we may never know for sure. Texas A&M's horse genetics program was unable to pick out anything in his DNA beyond ancient progenitor breeds.
