I had a Bamboo Tablet by Wacom. It was around 90ish dollars. I didn't really like the thick pen or the awkwardly coordinated pen pressure :/ Hence, why I wasn't devastated when it randomly disappeared about two years ago.I would highly recommend something bigger than the Fun Size which is what I had [even though I am TINY.] I don't know :b It really has more to do with personal preference. Just check out Wacom's site: http://www.wacom.com/If you draw/paint/etc. in real life >TRADITIONALLY< you should get a tablet relatively close to the size of your preferred drawing/painting paper. It's the best result you're going to get.Personally, I like a BIG space to work with, but I really would rather look at something small [idk why.] Nautical Nonsense ❤ |

It sounds like you used the Pen tablet Delphic ^. I used that one for 2 years and didn't mind it but it was hard and scratchy and would hurt my fingers after using it too long. I think it was worth the price but when I upgraded to the Bamboo Create (after my sisters broke the cord on my pen tablet) I was sooo much more happier and impressed with it. It has a nice big working space and it has a much more papery/soft feel to it and never hurts my fingers. Plus is has an eraser on it and four quick touch buttons on the tablet which are really useful when working on manes/tails and you need to ctrl + z a lot. xD The cord on it is detachable so if it should break it's really simple to get a new one as it uses a standard micro USB cable. I actually use a cord my boyfriend got me from his work that's longer because the one that came with the tablet was a wee bit too short for me, but I sit pretty far from the computer. There's also a wireless kit you can get for it that I plan to get eventually. It also comes with Elements 9 I believe. I use CS6 so I've never even opened the disk for that yet. =X But I know quite a few awesome graphic makers around here use Elements. I use the touch on it quite a bit if I'm reading through documents or messing around on HP. I haven't really tried it while making graphics because the pen offers much more precision. I bought mine off of amazon for 140 and I couldn't have been more happier with it. :D |
