I chose the sunflower for 2 reasons: it's my all time favorite flower and I feel like it embodies the feeling of spring so perfectly. https://lovflowers.co.uk/blogs/news/lilac The lilac has always represented spring to me; We used to have a lilac bush in the front yard of my childhood home, and I remember one time after a huge rainstorm the night before, the morning air was perfumed with the lilac's sweet scent, like it had been scrubbed with bar of soap. It was such a pleasant morning, and I love the scent of lilacs. HPD please and thank you! |

https://i.imgur.com/aRo8kK3.jpg I chose this one simply because it is my favorite color haha I'm a simple mind, I know. I thought about doing a lilac because I have a huge lilac bush growing on my front deck, but Eyre already used the lilac and I wanted to be different. HPD please ![]() |

I chose the waratah because they are such a unique and fascinating flower. They are super uncommon and so everytime I see one, I get a little spark of joy. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Tulips are definitely the flower that represents spring for me. My mom has dozens of them and they are the first flowers in her garden that start to pop out at the first sign of warm weather - usually to get buried by another foot of snow, as we tend to get hit with a lot of "fool's spring" days before real spring begins around the end of April, lol. They are hearty though, and always make it through to blossom when the snow finally ends! Points to https://horsephenomena.com/dogs.php?id=121052 please! ![]() |

https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/7ySBA7vkmzSUSzz4mNWifg.jpg I picked the passion flower! There's a local garden here that has some, and growing up my family would visit every spring. This was always my favorite! Points here please: https://horsephenomena.com/horses.php?id=446319 ![]() |

https://i.imgur.com/OB9vLmG.jpg https://i.imgur.com/qldTOW2.jpg (taken on my ride in April in 2021) (the same time frame as the picture in the photo contest) I chose the Prairie Crocus . they are native to Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba. They are the first signs that spring is finally here in. They grow only where natural prairie still exist. along river banks and any place that has natural grassland. they are a hardy flower and can withstand cold wind and snow in the early spring but can't be dug up and transplanted as they would die. all points to Saoirse please https://horsephenomena.com/dogs.php?id=191500 ![]() |

Snapdragons! I chose these because it was my grandma's favorite. You can pinch the sides of the flower and the petals will move apart which makes it look like a dragon opening its mouth. It doesn't hurt the plant if you do it gently. ![]() |
