I know the mods are gonna be on this like white on rice. Which is why I really want to try and keep this civil so we can all come to an understanding.

My short time back I've seen a lot of amazing acts of kindness. These things made me so happy I came back to be part of this community. 

I've also seen some terrible lashing out. Not naming names, not pointing fingers at all. Almost all of us are guilty of lashing out at the mods and really Blitz seems to be the HP free for all punching bag. Some players are popular with a sounding room, some keep to themselves. Some have BIG personality others are mysterious and quiet. We have a diverse group of people here. There are always issues when people gather with different personalities. 

What makes HP special is we've always made it work. I think we all just forget at times that unlike the horses and dogs, the humans who own them are more than just pixels.

So back on my soapbox. What is kindness?

Such a trivial simple idea isn't it? We are all kind people at the root. Let's not forget that. 

Tone is impossible in text. Not a single person. Know s if I am angry, sad, mellow, or frustrated as I post this. The meaning of my words is going to come across different depending on the tone you read this in. 

That is a problem that is not specific to us. 

But when you say something to someone, or when you are reading something someone posted, please read it in multiple tones. Give the benefit of the doubt. Give a little Grace. 

You are all amazing people. Just remember, we are all lost in translation.

This 100% ! There's been so much drama because some people clearly do not like others, but at the end of the day, it's a site for training pixel ponies and dogs.. not a site to become the bully of someone else. Majority of us use this place as a relief from the real world.. not to get the same treatment from others the second we log in! 

100% agree! We don't have to like one another, but we should all be kind and respectful of each other 

Like I tell my 5-year-old... I don't care if you like them you will be nice to them and you will treat them with respect because that is basic human decency. 

My household is big on respect and kindness. I made a child cry for getting in a horse's mouth on accident.

Some of us are very emotional. I cry a lot personally. I am one of those emotional people. Emotional people is me. 

Which is why I read messages like 20 times before responding 🤣
