After a lot of thought and consideration, I have decided I'm going to quit HP permanently. Coming back was nostalgic and fun at first, but over time, I started to notice the drama happening amongst players and staff. I've seen enough bullying and toxicity between various individuals and the ganging up on the admins that are desperately trying to keep the game alive. However...There have been a handful of players I've gotten close to and I'd love to keep in touch with on Discord (my username is busiestbookworm). It's just that seeing how certain players interact with each other and the staff was very disappointing. I have a feeling that sticking around would result in me eventually being pulled into it in some capacity and I don't have the energy for all that.

I've also just simply lost interest in the game overall. Even with over 100 animals, there really isn't much to do besides graphics and puzzles. I'm just pretty bored with it at this point. I had a lot of fun with it when I first returned, but I just lost the spark after a few months. I've had some cool achievements like hitting rankings a few times, but like I said, I'm just bored with it all at this point. I'm someone who craves instant gratification, and this game is just too slow-paced to keep my squirrel brain engaged. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the game itself--it's me, not the game.

I sincerely thank everyone that was so kind and generous to me when I first came back, but it's time for me to let go of this game. I do truly appreciate the staff for keeping this place going so I could have one last hoorah! I wish y'all nothing but the best and I hope that my friends will keep in touch in Discord DMs. I do care very deeply about that handful of players. ♡

sorry to see you go, but you gotta do what's best for you. I hate all the drama too, but I'm not a social butterfly by any means, so I can get away with just not really talking to anyone and be perfectly happy.
