Tragedy (#3473) had the best sidekick known to pupkind! * Name of Your Pet: Jill * Current Age of Your Pet: Passed over the rainbow bridge 2-3-2025 at 15years, together since 2016 * What is Their Breed?: Blue Heeler 1. How did your pet come into your life? Jill actually began as my boyfriend's dog. She was gifted to him by an old boss as a puppy in replacement of a previous heeler he had named Jack (jack & Jill). She very quickly became my dog instead of his though one we began dating. 2. Do they have any quirky personality traits or habits? When Jill was young she had a bad habit of biting peoples shoes (typical heeler) and would always growl at every dog she saw even if it was one she liked! No one could ever sneak up on you because she had a radar like no other! She was only about 25lbs but she had no fear. 3. What is your pet's favorite toy or treat? Jill loves pretty much anything she can eat but her favorite treat was sitting with the farrier eating fresh hoof trimmings. She was always on clean up duty. 4. Who is their favorite human in your household? She only had eyes for me. 5. What is a special memory that you have with them? I am just thankful for her coming into my life when she did. She helped raise my other dog into being an incredibly well mannered, gentle, sweet and fantastic ranch dog. No matter what chaos was going on in my life she was always right by my side or waiting at home for me to come back to. She was the matriarch everywhere we went and not a day went by when someone would joke about 'stealing her' because she was so loved.
