As some of you may know, my other dogs all passed away. It's been about 2,5 months without any pets, and truth to be told, it's been hard. 
I did have a sleepover dogo. An unruly Labrador who caused quiet the chaos here. I realised I missed having a pet around, and decided to look for a new dogo, but a small one, so It's a bit easier to keep and move around with.

My eye fell on 2-year-old Leah. Leah was dumped by her previous owner on the streets, where she was found by Animal Rescue Sofia in Bulgaria about 6 months ago. Shes a small mixed breed ( Any guesses? Mine is Schipperke with some terrier) Shes 36cm or 14 inch and 5.8kg (12.7 pounds) Leah will be renamed to NOVA when she's here. I think thats fitting.
She is due to arrive 26/27 july ! 

The left dogo (chihuahua mix) is named Sedefka. I also inquired about her, but she is being adopted out to someone in Germany! :D

Oh she is SO cute! She looks like she has some rat terrier in her possibly. She would be a fun one to do a DNA test on!

thats so exciting!! congrats! you and little Nova will have many adventures together.  Rescues dogs are the best dogs.  I truly feel having another animal in the house does heal the hole left behind by passed dogs/cats. :)

I've been murdered by cuteness. 

I'm so excited for her to arrive! She will be here Saturday around noon!

Rat Terrier wouldn't suprise me AT ALL since she's said to be 'noisy' 
She will especially voice her opinion about other people walking past her kennel without her XD

Wait I missed this D: omg she is SOOO CUTEE :D I hope she is settling in perfectly! What a precious baby! Having no pups at home after being so used to having them is SO HARD. After Buster passed I struggled so hard. Oliver was still at the house but he is silent and the whole house was sooo eerily quiet. I'm so so happy you rescued another baby to help with the healing process! Ember will never replace Buster, but they are meant to help our hearts heal!! Congrats on your new fur baby!! (:

I didn't see this too but it seems to been posted when I was in the hosp. I am so glad she home and hope she settles right in

"Ember will never replace Buster"

I completely feel this! Of course Nova will never replace my other precious babies, but she has already brought so much joy, energy, and routine into my life. She’s settling right in, and honestly acts like she’s always been here; like she owns the place, lol.

She’s full of character: playful, curious, and sometimes a little cheeky. At the same time, she’s incredibly loving and has already become my little shadow around the house. Every day she surprises me with her confidence and the way she adapts so quickly. She learned 'sit' within the first 2 hours being here... In the mere 3 weeks of being here she knows 'sit, wait, lay down, come, paw, follow, free ( When I unlock her flexline so she can explore instead of being short, im NOT letting her off-leash yet) , grab, search...'   It really feels like we’re building our own rhythm together, and I’m so grateful for her. She absolutely LOVES to play with her teddybear! 

I walk her 4 times a day. At 8/1/5/10
She will get food after her morning walk, and after the 3th walk around 5. I give her kibble and in the evening she gets a high quality wet food with her kibbles. ( sometimes chicken, sometimes deer or other wildlife, sometimes rabbit - depends what I grab lol)

Oh any breed guesses? I might actually buy 1 of those breed tests for fun. I think she is a schipperke/chihuahua mix. She's high energy and super smart. She literally hears EVERYTHING. Her ears sometimes seem to be selectively hearing tho XD

I've missed having a dog. I always grew up with a dog in the house. But I moved out ~2023 and I have a cat. I LOVE my cat, but I miss the charms of a little pup too. I've also considered getting a smaller, easier to handle dog to have... Maybe eventually...
