Scheduled Maintenance

First of, just as an FYI. Liquid Web (the company that hosts HP!) has let us know that they will be doing a scheduled maintenance on the server we're hosted on Monday September 8th between 11pm EST (aka HP time) and 7am on Tuesday. This was scheduled by them, not us. They are telling us there's an expected service interruption expected for up to 30 minutes at some point during that 8-hour window when they reboot the server. We don't know when specifically, just that it's in that window of time. 

We're obviously hopeful that this won't really affect anything on HP (other than a possible 30 mins of HP being down), however if crons don't run due to said outage, I (blitz) will do my best to run them when I can after that 8-hour window has happened. Keep in mind though that I will be at work all day Tuesday, so there might be a delay for me to be able to sort out what didn't run and run it until I get home from work.

Fingers crossed things don't go all wonky!

September Breed Spotlight

It's somehow that time again! Our Breed Spotlights for September are the Patriot Paint and Liberty Lab, which are also the only two Cash Shop breeds on HP who get two months of spotlight each year!

The Patriot Paint was added in September 2012 to commemorate 9/11 in the United States. They are described as being a patriotic Paint of stars and stripes. The current highest pointed Patriot Paint on HP is Pointe du Hoc, owned by vexation!

The Liberty Lab is the dog equivalent to the Patriot Paint, added in September 2012 to commemorate 9/11. They are your most patriotic pup. The current highest pointed Liberty Lab on HP is Sirn, owned by Lady Rancher (RIP)!

Both breeds will be in the Store for the next week, before they will be sent back to the Cash Shop until next July!
