Hello! As some of you may know, I am currently in the process of re-learning how to code. I found a few skeletons on CodePen and I've played around with the layout generator. I was just wondering, at what point can you consider an edited code as your own? Do I need to completely write it from scratch or does extensively editing a skeleton warrant claiming the code as your own without it being considered "stealing" code?Β

Side note - I am looking for a tabbed layout skeleton.

If you're getting parts from somewhere or someone else, always best to give them credit.

coding is a tricky thing honestly, everyone learns coding from tutorials at one point, yet the 'top coders' never need to credit anyone but themselves i've noticed, even though majority of the parts of coding would all be the same otherwise it wouldn't work :')Β

@Blitz so if I use a couple of pieces of code found on a resource website, should I credit that website?

@whimrose that's why I was confused.
