Was there ever something so special that you asked for as a child for Christmas? Or what about as you got older and maybe when you were in college? Or *gasp* as a full blown adult after college?!

My Christmas wish as a little girl was always to get a new Grand Champion model horse. My parents could never afford Breyer's, so I got these instead and adored them! They could be found and Walmart and are very sadly no longer a thing or I would be buying them for my daughter now!

Here is the main page that took me down memory lane, my gosh I had so many!  I ended up selling all of them when I went to college and only got around $75 for my entire collection which was a large Costco sized storage tote.

I never really asked for things but always found giving was way more fun! Though now if I could ask for something...it would be to have well to be able to keep making people smile by giving gifts! I already have everything i need except maybe a pair of the solid no flat inner tubes lol 

I asked for new Breyer model horses and Breyer accessories every year (though I also had a ton of the Grand Champion models too).

idk. chistmas kinda just became anther day but kinda with gifts and we try to see family for an meal after my dad passed , and when other siblings came home lol they kinda would make th day stressfull alot of the time. and can still do if they really dont want to go to my aunts for an meal/ but most of them are adults so if they truely dont wanna go they can stay home

Every Christmas I asked for a horse haha it never happened. We managed to acquire pretty much every other farm animal under the sun but not a horse. Now I'm 32 and even if I could wouldn't be able to keep one in my little sliver of a shared back yard XD Perhaps one day haha

Every year up until I was old enough to uh realize it wasn't gonna happen at like 12, from ages 4 I of course, no surprise (like everyone here prolly), I asked for a horse...as an adult it became more practical gifts, ie cash or socks. More interested in realisim now ha. last year I got warm socks in a pack ughhhh I love my socks. To be fair not close with my family so my mom got me socks, my bestfriend got me a giant pokemon plush so that was top tier.

The most fondest Christmas wish I remember from my youth was getting one of these bad boys:

Now that I'm older, I just wish for a busy day with family and loved ones. Lots of food, laughter, chaos and love.

I always wished for a horse but never got one. I got 1 of those Barbie horses but I don't think I played with it alot lol.
I remember getting a Portable DVD player and a Discman that I took everywhere with me. Christmas however was always a beautifull time when my mom was still alive. I really miss those times.

The thing I loved the most was when I got my horse ( bought with my own money) and I moved back to my old city after a breakup. My mom and dad knew my saddle was stolen at the other stable ( All saddles where stolen) And I got an early christmas present from my parents. They got me a new saddle for my horse.

I was super happy ofcourse. I cried a river of tears. 
 

I have adhd and my memory is non-existent and i don't remember much from my childhood.  But i do remember asking for a horse.  i don't ever remember what colour or breed but ive always loved horses. at 28 i got my wish

I, like everyone else, asked for a horse for YEARS. A few months before Christmas one year after horse hunting for 9 months my first two horses came home! We got them as a package deal, the saint who sold them to us coached us that they shouldn't be alone so threw in a broodmare she was retiring anyways. That broodmare is Dee, my now almost 32 yr old Appt mare that I've had for TWENTY years this coming year. My mom put their Appy registration papers in MY name and put them in my stocking at Christmas. At 11/12 years old I was so shocked she had put them in my name, I cried and squealed, and it was the best Christmas ever. I was, and still am so blessed to have had an amazing childhood and even more amazing parents. These days, I wish that I could just give my daddy one more hug and tell him I love him and how grateful I am for all the hard work & sacrifices they made to make those childhood dreams come true.

I have really been into cookie decorating, so this year I asked for a bunch of cookie decorating stuff. And I also asked for more pottery paint colors. :)

When my sibs and I were kids, we used to get a catalogue and mark the items we wanted. This was an exciting time, to say the least!
I remember I wanted a real tool kit, which consisted of real tools like a hammer, saw, chisel and other items. I also got a LEGO set of Robin Hood's hideout.

Something I would like now, as an adult, is a Tycoon Wuzzle (a tiger/raccoon hybrid) plushie. I remember wanting one in the '80s, and even remember the location in the store (now demolished to make room for houses) where their Wuzzle plushies were. My mum always said they were too expensive, so I never got one. A bunch of years ago, I found 3 Wuzzles in two different charity shops: Rhinokey (rhino/monkey), Bumblelion (bumblebee/lion) and Hoppopotamus (rabbit/hippo). I was so happy with them! Maybe this Crimbo, I'll get Tycoon.

Every time someone would ask me what I wanted for Christmas, and honestly it still applies (hey a girl can dream right?!), my answer would and will forever be until it happens one day A Horse! xD Of course now, working in the industry, and knowing alot of the costs and ups and downs that will still be a far away wish/dream. I'm just happy to be around them and get to care for other people's ponies in the meantime. 

For today, I'd love to be able to get a dresser for our bedroom that matches our bed frame. When did Ikea get so expensive?!! D:

I desperately wanted one of those posh Georgian doll houses, specifically a blue one similar to the link. I never got one but did play with my friends all the time XD
