Does anyone have any suggestions? I want to save money for a dog project, but when I tried in the past, the money ended up being used for reups. Am I going about it the wrong way?

I've never really had the funds to do a project, but I do save what I can for graphics/layouts/upgrades! :)
Offer services (training/voting/shows/etc.) and then you could try tossing the funds earned onto a spare account and just let it accumulate?
Even if it's not much, it adds up over time.

I've been doing training at what seems to be the going rate of 100k per with enter all and 250k without. I also sell my horse tickets. Annnd I need to get a move on with the rest. o__o

Gonna try to do some very basic premades in Paint (lulz) and see if I can sell them.

I tried the separate account thing before with help from Shae which ended up in lulz (looong story), so I think I'll HAVE to do it again. When Shae helped me, she changed the details so I couldn't access the account due to temptation. Hahaha!

Tickets are definitely a good money grab, especially if you have a ton of accounts! I would also suggest you keep the bulk of your money on a seperate account other than your main, that way you will be less inclined to spend it accidentally :p

do half and half. 
put half away for a project and then half away for upgrades. 
kind of like having different bank accounts for bills and then fun stuff :)

i just don't spend a lick on anything else. I buy no graphics, no tickets, no shows, and sell EVERYTHING, plus making my shows at max fee. 

It is kinda hard for someone who doesn't do graphics or upgrades to really take  money in quickly.

Chao: The only things I have been spending money on is training, a couple sets of tickets (just to boost my lined pup's points) and have placed an order with Sov for a new generic pic. But as with you, I have been selling everything I can. Because I don't have home internet, I have to use Robb's. When I get Sky next week, I'm gonna try to do some basic pics to sell.

Can you do graphics or coding? The training services is a good idea aswell as selling all your horse and dog tickets! What about selling your private horse and dog shows? Any particular dogs/horses you don't want anymore you could also let go?? Also if you have any extra RL money (I know it can be difficult) selling a few upgrades on HP would be a huge help in your HP funds!

Audacious: I have no clue about coding and can only do basic pics, which I have not done in a long time. When I get home internet this coming week, I will be able to look for stock, etc. I can't wait to get started!

I only sell horse tickets and shows as I use dog ones for my Silent Hill line. Especially now that I am training my generation 20 pup.

All of my animals are still young/only started, so I don't have any to sell off yet. I will be selling my backup Clydesdale foal, though. And I am contemplating doing some train-to-sell animals of the breeds I am doing!

I would totally use real money to sell upgrades, but I never have any to spare. x_x
