Mod News

In staffing news, our beloved Skell has decided to step down (but not disappear forever, she PROMISED!!) from being a mod. Ephemira has shifted over to fill her spot on the mod team from her previous position as an event coordinator. Please join me and welcoming her as mod!

Event Participating

PLEASE READ!

Going forward, please only complete/submit events or activities from your main account, not any accounts where you partner with others! Completing an activity for a club, or one of our monthly mini events from a partnered account means we don't easily know which person is doing the activity, which can lead to "double dipping" on prizes (which is cheating...) and as well not knowing who to mark down a point for completing it to our seasonal tallies for additional prizes.

The exception to this is, of course, our Mascot Contest! For the Mascot Contest events, obviously you will need to complete the official activities that are a part of that contest from whichever account is the one with the mascot entry.

Breed Spotlight

It's Spotlight Breed time again! This month, the spotlights are all wild dog-type breeds! As Spotlight breeds, the below breeds have been moved to the Store for this week, before they will return to the Cash Shop until this time next year!

Spotlight Breeds this month are...

Timber Wolf - The Timber Wolf can refer to three main types of wolf: the Eastern [Timber] Wolf of the Great Lakes region in southeastern Canada, the Northern Rocky Mountain Wolf of the northern Rocky Mountains, and the Northwestern Wolf of western North America.

Iberian Wolf - The Iberian Wolf is a grey wolf subspecies from northwestern Spain and northern Portugal.

Jackal - The Jackal is a midsize canine species from Africa and Eurasia. There are three types of Jackal: the Black-backed Jackal, the Side-striped Jackal, and the Golden Jackal.

Tanuki - The Tanuki, also known as the Japanese Raccoon Dog, is a cousin of wolves and domestic dogs, unlike the North American raccoon you'd think of when you hear Raccoon. You can only find them in the wild in Japan, where they are usually nocturnal, although some can be seen during the daylight as well. They have a long history of featuring in Japanese legend and folklore.

Striped Hyena - The Striped Hyena is a species of Hyena that can be found in North or East Africa, the Middle East, the Caucuses, Central Asia, and the Indian subcontinent, and is considered to be near-threatened. It is the smallest type of Hyena, and is monogamous and nocturnal.

Saarloos Wolf Dog - The Saarlos Wolfdog is a wolf-dog breed from the Netherlands, created from breeding German Shepherds with the Siberian Grey Wolf. They are named after Dutch zoologist Leendert Saarloos, who is credited with breeding the first cross between the two canines.

Discount Candy Days

It's the official Discount Candy Days! It's better than the day after Halloween. And not just because everything is bathed in Sam's favorite color (BRIGHT NEON PINK) and speckled with Sam's favorite shape (HEARTS), but because the chocolate is even cheaper than the day after Halloween!

Soo, what is the point you ask? Ah! Because it's the perfect day to send your HP Valentine(s) a gift!

From now until Wednesday, February 18th, we will be doing mini HPD grab bags with a twist - you must send them to someone else!

Each grab bag will be 10 mill HPD ($10,000,000), and you can send as many as you want to, but they MUST be for other people, and you can only send one to each person you send to!

The bags will all contain one surprise gift in them :).

Want to send some surprises out? Here's what you do:

1. Send the appropriate amount of HPD to account #1, and in the reason line, put the ID's of the people getting a grab bag.

2. Message me if you want to include a special message, or if you want me to keep the sender anonymous!

3. I will get them sent out!

You can send me the HPD for grab bags until 11:59pm on Wednesday, February 18th! I will do my best to get all of them sent out as SOON AS I POSSIBLY CAN, but depending on the volume, it may take awhile, so please be patient!
