Coming Soon: 2048!

Yes, you read that correctly! HP is finally going to have its own 2048 game...well...two: one that is horse-themed and one that is dog-themed. This is something that has been requested several times in the past year or three, and we finally have the means to make it happen.

But first we need your help, players of HP!

The games are basically ready to go. They just need one thing: the photos to go in each numbered square! That's where you all come in!

Want to see your offline horse or dog (or both!) featured in our new 2048 games? Message Account #1 with a link to the photo or photos you would like to nominate to be included in the game.

Guidelines:

• Each player can submit a maximum of two photos per species (ie. 2 max for the horse game, 2 max for the dog game


• You must have taken the photo(s) yourself, both to make this fair and because legally we'd need the photographer's permission to include their photo.


• They must be photos...no AI, no cartoons, drawings, graphic manipulations, pictures you found on Google, etc.


• Send the horse photo(s) in a separate message from the dog photo(s), with the subject line stating if they're horse or dog photos.


• You don't have to own the horse or dog in the photo. It could be your grandmother's, the horse you ride at your barn, your second cousin once removed's puppy, etc.

When considering what photo to send in, please also consider the size of the square your photo could be featured in. Photos with a horse or dog far in the distance, when the photo is resized to fit in the game, likely won't show up:

Note: We will resize the winning photos to fit those squares. The above screenshot is a visual to the size the photos will be when in the game. 

Deadline to submit your photos is May 1st!

But Blitz! How will you choose which photos are included and which number they'll represent?? 

Good question! 

Once photo submissions have closed, I will post a poll with all of the photos that were submitted, and everyone will get to vote for which photo(s) they want to see included. The ones with the highest votes will win and be featured in the two 2048 games. More information will be provided once the photo deadline has come and gone as to how this will work. Please note that part of the reason I am requesting photos be sent via messages and not posted as a forum reply is to make the voting part of this anonymous for the photographer to make it as fair as possible. Just something to keep in mind!

Patchwork

The 2026 Patchwork is FINALLY done, thanks in huge part to our lovely Ephemira, who took on putting it together when I kept forgetting about it (oops!).
