This thread is inspiried by Peike's thread the other day of her Hawaii view. Post pictures here of how pretty it is where you live! (And of course, tell us where that is.) This is from my deck in Omaha, NE. My grandpa always says that the beauty is in the sky in Nebraska!

I have two sunset pictures taken from my backyard, the second one taken a few minutes after the first as the sky was changing.
I'm live on the island of Oahu, HI. |

I'm from the midlands in England so no where near as nice as you guys I'm sure! Although, the sterotype for England seems to be rain and miserable weather which is true like 90% of the time. But here's a few photos to prove that every now and again, it's not so bad! The fields behind my stables...
The road from my house to the stables...

Wow where do I start. All are located at or near Orange TX creeping into louisiana!
A huge oak tree with Spanish moss on it, you can see the oil refineries in the background
The boat Launch on the Louisiana side, 5 minutes from the house. You can almost smell the fish and alligator.
On the Sabine river on the way to our river spot, 3 boats and 2 jet skis in tow.
At our spot. I am obviously modeling off guard sitting on the boat because IT WAS COLD (80°)
10 minutes up river, it got to swamp real quick. I dont dare get in that.
A weak beginning of the summer sunset, complete with Texas palms.
We spend a lot of time on the water.... |

You guys are lucky having fields and stables and rivers and stuff. I live in a 4-room apartment just outside Belfast city proper, with a derelict piece of land opposite. My besite, Robb lives on the other side and looks out on the city and the mountains beyond.
Scenery From Northern Ireland Part of the Mourne Mountains, County Down
Dark Hedges in County Antrim
Also Dark Hedges. Recognise the left pic?
One of the views from Cave Hill, County Antrim.
Ballintoy Harbour in County Antrim
Also Ballintoy Harbour.
Glenariff, one of the Glens of Antrim, which are little valleys.
I could go on. Hahaha! I love Northern Ireland.

This thread came at the perfect time! I recently got a new camera, Nikon D3200, and sunday we went out to a poppy field to do maternity pictures and I took it along to take a few shots. So here is a few shots of northern Italy. Fun fact: Italians think these poppys are all weeds.

Not the best photography ever. But here's the view from my apartment! It's actually nicer than it looks.
And that same view... 4 months later.

Victoria BC! I don't CURRENTLY live there, but I will be moving in July and I also grew up there :) This is about a 5 mintue walk from where my house will be:
The beautiful inner harbour downtown:
A view of the city up on the mountain:
And an aerial view of where I'll be going to school!
This is down the street from my house where I currently am in Toronto. The Market doesn't have a lot of natural scenery (nor does most of Toronto), but it's a pretty cool place to live!
For example, there was casually a tiger here a couple months ago for a music video shoot:

Minnesota is a pretty versatile state.
We have prairie we have lakes -11,842 lakes more than 10 acres in size we have Lake Itaska which is the beginning of the Mighty Mississippi...why it's not called the Mighty Minnesota, we're still not sure.. with lots of water comes lots of waterfalls! This is Minneopa falls which is less than 30 minutes from my house then we have our fields..corn and soybeans and wheat and up north they grow sunflowers and canola and sugarbeets! and in the fall, our colors are just as pretty as anywhere out east

My backyard: An aerial of my city: The beautiful columbia basin & model Bristol :P : I live in Pasco, WA which is part of the surrounding area more commonly known as Tri-Cities, WA (Kennewick, Pasco, & Richland). Pretty isn't the first word I use to describe here, but it has it's moments! ☺ |

I live in Napa County in California (it's in the Nothern Bay Area). Specifically, the Lake Berryessa area. Here's a sunset from my porch:
From my upstairs you can see just about all of Lake Berryessa, but this is the only photo have right now from my house.
Here's a picture I took last winter of a local Vineyard in Napa. Napa is a wine and restaurant tourist spot so just about all we have is vineyards. They are pretty when they change color in the late fall and winter though.

I miss having a garden. To have one growing up (front and back) then to move to the city and live in an apartment building with no garden is tough. :( |

@BV - the highway we take up to Minneapolis/St. Paul is exceptionally known for the pretty fall colors as it follow the Minnesota River valley. 8D |
