When I make mine, I put the price at $1. That way my buyers aren't paying anything extra on top of the price of the shows.

I have noticed that many private shows are set at $500. 

If you're buying 80 spots or even full shows, you're paying an extra $40,000.

I can't help thinking that's a little unfair.

Am I being unreasonable?

How do you make your private shows?

I can eat the 40k.. but its wheN they do the full $3,000 per show that bothers me

I haven't done the math for my shows (I have 5-6 shows depending on dog/horse show). I'm just lazy and want to hurry to get the shows made, so I just don't change the price. If someone complained, I would. I didn't think $40k is that much in HPD?

I see most of them set for $500 and it's kind of "eh, whatever" to me. Like Sass said, it's not like it's adding up to millions per week or anything. Most players that do this say they don't bother changing it because they're just hurrying along. That's the part I don't get simply because I open a tab for each type of show I make so they're "preset" to what I put in and then I log in and out of each of my account. Normally I set my private shows to $0 and my publics to the full $3000. 

I do the same as you, Trig, kinda. I go to make a show, then logout in a new tab. Then use the back button every time I log in on another account.

I keep forgetting to make public shows. lol

i set all mine to 3k, but i also dont sell them? just keeps money swimming though my 3 accounts.
i also now have the awesome privilage of having login info for 5 additional horse/dog shows and have them set at 500 or 3k depending on tabs and what not. i dont mind i see it as a convience fee :)

What do you mean trig when you open different tabs for each? I do not mess with the price only bc its one less thing i have to click and change. Iwould love to know a faster way to make my shows though :-p 

I just leave it at the $500. I didn't even think the change it, to be honest with you all :O

Stephanie (I think? xD) - when I got to make shows each weeks I have 6 tabs open in my browser, one for each type of show, one for the bank and then one that I log in and out of each account from. Looks something like this: 

That way I can just down down the line hit the "create show" button and the hit backspace, my info I put in all stays the same and no constant changing names/prices/days.

That's basically how I do to too Trig. I just refresh each tab when I've logged into a new account. My browser asks if I want to resubmit the form and I hit yes, so it re-enters all the same info. I also set privates at $0. If you're already paying for the spot, I don't want to charge you extra.

How I do a private horse show for example:

Create private horse show @ $1

Go to the bottom and right click and open log out in a new tab

Log in to next account

Go to show tab and click to go back so that the information comes up again.

Make the show.

Repeat for other accounts.

For both shows, I just change horse to dog. Still using the back button.

I set my private shows for $0 and publics for $3,000.

since most people pay extra anyways, why not just AUTO SET the show price to $0 instead of $500???

How do you "auto set" prices azalie? Sorry. I do most of my stuff through my phone (which is another reason why i dont mess with the price) so im not real computer savy when it comes to this kind of stuff :-/
