So currently I live in Northern Virginia (outside of DC). My lease is up in August and I have NO idea where I am going come that time.

Here are a few of my options:

Stay here - I don't really want to. I do not have a lot of friends here and I do not like my job. There is really no point of me being here anymore EXCEPT I met a guy. A great guy, named Jamie. BUT at the same time that is no reason for me to stay (by August I will have none him for 4 months). Choice ranking = 3rd

Baltimore - I lived in Baltimore for 6 years. I went to school there and made all my friends there (and they all currently still live on the outskirts). Positive things = my friends are here. Most of my friends. Except my 2 I grew up with and one is now pregnant and married and the other moved to missouri so they are not even in NY anyway.

North Carolina (Charlotte) - This is where my mom is moving, my father has 4 houses (where he will also end up within the next 2 years) and where most of my immediate family wants to move to int he future. I have family friends there but no friends of my own. I know I can make friends no problem but I will be away from my best friends.

New York (Long Island, Home) - Do I want to go back home? Not really. It is to expensive, but of course it is still an option.

Anywhere else in the world - Yeah. This is an option as well.

The thing is, besides Whynn I have nothing holding me back. And for the most part, Whynn can go whereever I go (with a price of course)

Guys. I really need help here. I need to start looking and searching for jobs in the place I want to move. So I need to make a decision soon.

Personally, I would look into jobs in both Baltimore and North Carolina.  You can always visit family, or vist friends, but it is hard to pay for and make time to do both if you live elsewhere.  And by looking into both, you have the freedom to perhaps pick a job that suits you better, than one to pay the bills, just so you have a home.

You said your father has 4 houses in NC. Is renting one or living in one free of charge an option? You would be close to family and your rent/etc may not be as high. If I were you I'd weigh it as in which one makes you the most excited - like which one makes you the happiest to think about. And consider the job and living situation that comes with that place? A good paying job doesn't account for much if you're not happy or lonely. Also, living close to family is nice but it doesn't pay the bills.

Move here! Come keep me company while I HP :P. Omaha has almost a million people in the metro area, TONS of jobs, crazy low cost of living, and a surprising amount of music, food, and sports festivals and events! Horse board is abundant but not super cheap, although compared to where you are it probably is. I had Brooks and Abbey indoor stalls with runs, full care, turn out service, and all that for $360. As an example.

But whatever you choose, make sure you visit for a little bit first, and look at job and housing options :). Best of luck!

AUSTRALIA.

but quite honestly if I were you I'd go back to Baltimore or back to where your family is, I find it nicer living somewhere I have roots.
