OK so due to a very very well bad situation here at home I am looking to move to washington state in august. My job has already gave the washington owners a heads up(they ran our store for awhile and moved recently) and are excited I want to work for them. 

Anyways, Im looking at loans from banks and the cost of what it will take to ship my car, plan air fare for myself and the dog. Its rough but I can't stay in hawaii any longer. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with washington? I could really use some advice... :3

I am so sorry to hear that your living situation in Hawaii isn't working out for you. That must be stressful. :-(

May I ask what part of Washington you are moving to? I currently live in south eastern Washington and have for years aside from a stint in Alaska. I know a bit about the rest of the state though. I will help with whatever I can. Just ask away!

And my bestfriend now wants to jump on the bandwagon... so if ahe and i could share a 2br thats be swell but i dont mind being alone.. in just tired of the abuse =( *hugs

Paints since 6-8-14

So set day is july 30th. Now to arrange livig situations with my friend and start packing

Washington State living advice 101! #1, no it doesn't rain all the time everywhere :) West of the cascades it tends to rain more than on the east. Hence where things like twilight and stuff were set. A lot of washington towns and cities have personal websites which are awesome for learning about the culture! Oh and it does snow here! Spokane is one of the heaviest places and further east it usually ice's. My Uncle also moved from Hawaii to Washington and says it takes a little adjustment to get used to some of the winters so be prepared but its not unpleasent :) If you like scenery and stuff there are tons of options! Like the capital Olympia or smaller towns like Leavenworth that are really cool places! 

Leavenworth is a destination town.  It's expensive as all get out to purchase land or properties there.  If it wasn't we would own propety there! :P
