So, this fall marks the annual CIBC Run for a Cure. (If you are interested in donating even a dollar, please go here.) More, I just wanted everybody to know! I will be battling my asthma and my own body to do this, but I feel it is important to give back - and this is how I help. |

You got this!! You will feel incredible and so accomplished when you are done!! Train little by little each day. The hardest part about running is getting yourself out the door to do it. Once you are over that hurdle, you will make it! :) |

113 days left and after week one... I have lost 3 pounds (keep in mind Im running daily rationing food for my thyroid reasons volleyball tuesdays, soccer monday, wednesday, and friday, tennis thursdays, and on weekends I try to swim at least once) so far and have upped my initial "let's just do 1 km and go from there" to 3.2 km of running and walking. As I feel less tired after, I have been upping the distance daily - the goal is to up the distance all the way to 10 km, and then worked on running more of it versus jogging and walking parts. I could do the full 5km now walking with running in it, but this way I'm building up my running amount as I go, without the distance tiring me out! Also, I really need new runners. These ones are not the best. |

Good job on this undertaking! I love 5/10ks, they're an absolutely blast! Before my accident, I used to run them often here. Keep us updated on your training :D! |
