The creepy smile on my face when he flew in would probably make people think I was insane because holy crap that was awesome! He came just in time to save his mommy!
But what about that sacrafice to the fire?! How could her parents just be like "you're our only daughter but this crazy fire preistess says we will when if we kill you" like wtf?!
Yeah I have noticed that there have been like no major character deaths this season so I forsee a killing spree coming up... Hopefully starting with cercsi >:) |

Yeah I agree, do not mind if ceresi dies (even though I love Lena Heady and her acting!) Oh I hate Stannis, I do not even want to waste my breath on him at the moment! (again, even though I love Stephen Dillane and his acting is amazing) This season finale is going to be worse than the red wedding...I can see it now! I have a direwolf, your argument is invalid |

I can't say here what I think of Stannis. *cough*
Poor Davos, though. :(
The Meereen action was excellent! I was saying "Come on, someone let the dragons out, someone let the dragons out!" And then Drogon appeared! "YESSSS! GO DROGONNN!" When you think about it, that was the only way Khaleesi et al could have gotten out of that scenario. The Unsullied would have taken too long to get there. And at least now, Khaleesi won't have to get married!

Wasn't she already married to him? PS TYRION AND DANY AND JORAH AND DANY AND TYRION SAVING MISSANDEI AND JORAH KILLING THE SON OF THE HARPY AND DARIO AND JORAH BROMANCE I COULD NOT DEAL WITH THE EPISODE OMFG I have a direwolf, your argument is invalid |

I don't remember if they married yet. Also, Hizdahr showed up late to the coliseum saying that he was "just making sure everything is in order". Could HE have been the one that set up the attack? |

It makes no sense because they killed him unless he is not really dead. I have a direwolf, your argument is invalid |

Perhaps! Or maybe they turned on him? I can't wait until next week! Can't imagine how Davos will react to Shireen's death. |

OMG MAYBE DAVOS WILL KILL STANNIS OR THE RED WOMEN! -crosses fingers- I was just starting to like Stannis and that just really pissed me off. ALSO did you notice the Sons of the Harpy were only killing masters and not slaves? some slaves were even a part of the Sons of the Harpy. I wonder if they are like slaves doing it pretending to be masters? I have a direwolf, your argument is invalid |

Okay. Stannis. I just cannot even right now. I seriously just CANNOT. The sad thing is that Davos knew that was going to happen if he left...that's why he gave her that gift and went and talked with her and asked Stannis if he could take her with him...I think he legitimately knew that Stannis was going to sacrifice her. At least that is what I got out of the episode. I was hoping that he was going to kidnap her anyways, but clearly he did not. And coming from a MOTHER's standpoint, Shireen's mother is like unbelievable. There is NOOOO way they could have done that to my child. NO. MATTER. WHAT. I mean, that is just insane. And the red woman is CRAZY. How can you just set a child on fire and not even care? Just so Stannis can defeat Winterfell? He is trying to get to the IRON THRONE, overtaking Winterfell is just ONE piece of the puzzle. He sacrificed his daughter JUST for Winterfell, not even the main throne he is seeking. I hated that. Hated it, hated it, hated it. I know it is Game of Thrones and nothing is out of reach as far as deaths etc. But burning a young child alive? Too much for me. WAY. TOO. MUCH. I just cannot even deal right now. They put Mance Rayder out of his misery when he was being burned alive, but they didn't make is so the young child was shown mercy? Like my mind is just...UGH. IDK. It was awful enough to show Mance Rayder being burned alive and he was killed before he was burned. To witness that happen to a child, like I am just SHOCKED. There is NO way I want Stannis to win. I want him and his army and the red women to be tortured and slaughtered by Ramsay....Like I am very upset! What a monster! ---end rant about Stannis--- DANY. DROGON. TYRION. JORAH. DAARIO. (Where was Greyworm? He still recovering?). That scene was everything I wanted and more. NOW Dany just needs to meet and team up with Jon Snow and my life will be complete. Also - Dany flew away on Drogon, but the others were left there to die. What the sons of the harpy just let them leave?? I don't get how they escaped? They were still surrounded by sons of the harpy. And I cannot imagine the sons of the harpy were juts like "oh the queen is gone so we're just gonna let ya'll leave"....I mean....I just don't understand how the others didn't get slaughtered by them? Oh well...I'm just thankful they were not killed (judging by the previews for the next episode). I do not think that Dany had married that creep yet, so that's good. I am torn on my decision about whether he was involved or not. I am thinking that he was NOT because they stabbed and killed him. Plus if he was involved he could have easily just reached over and stabbed Dany first since he was the one sitting right beside her. I am leaning towards saying he was NOT involved, but ya never know. And I doubt there will be a way to find out for sure. ONLY disappointment from the episode was that we did not see enough Jon Snow. In the photo previews that were released before the episode aired there were a TON of Jon Snow and we literally barely saw him in the episode. But oh well. That's just a very minor criticism. - INA! |

I see Jon Snow and the wildlings being a large part of the season finale. Who knows. I agree with you about the Stannis thing but at the same time that is not the worst thing that has happend to someone let alone a child in this situation. It just happened to be a child that we all had feelings for in the show. It was sad and horrible but I expected it (does not mean I am not pissed!) When it comes to the sons of the harypy, the backed off because they were all injured and if they were not injured they ran away as fast as possible because there was a dragon blowing them to bits haha Also, the queen was gone so there was no need to kill the others. She was the one they wanted. This episode and the last one are by far my favorite episodes EVER in the show! So much going on! I love this season I have a direwolf, your argument is invalid |

I don't know about other countries, but here in the UK, Sky Atlantic gave a warning about upsetting scenes after the advert break just before the part where Ellaria was given the choice of swear allegiance or die. I was expecting her to be killed or the Sand Snakes. Did noooot expect Shireen to be the one. |
Overture - Wolves June 8th, 2015 6:32:12pm 199 Posts |
They do not do that here. All the warnings are before the episode. I was really sad about it! Don't think I am heartless and was not upset by it I even posted on FB how upset I was with it! My point just was that besides that there are a lot of bad things that happen to children in this show. I was mostly sad because of who it was and how Stannis was JUST saying how he could never let anything happen to her. It really pissed me off. I was seriously just starting to warm up to him this season. And then he did that. I have a direwolf, your argument is invalid |

My mind is still blown after last week, like everything else seems so irrelevant compared to the walkers haha. I'm pretty much in agreement with everyone that Stannis is a grade A jerk though. It didn't get to me as much as the red wedding but she was literally one of the like three innocent people the whole show. I really liked the relationship between Davos and Shireen and I really thought he'd take her with him against Stannis' wishes. It's a hit towards his character. If he's willing to risk his life for Gendry, saving Shireen should have been no question. Instead he gave her a carved stag to burn with her, just rude. Whynn I thought I saw slaves being killed by the sons of the harpy as well as some being part of the group. That whole seen was a whole lot of crap your pants haha. Drogon to save the day! The way everyone just bands together around Dany, it's like "move over, here comes the A team!" Side note, did Bran just fall off the earth? Like seriously, where did half the cast go? |

I totally expected that Stannis would do that to Shireen. But that was hard to watch, even if I pretty much saw it coming. One, the screaming was INTENSE. Two, the saddest part of all this was that her mother finally came to her senses (she's wanted nothing to do with her daughter the entire series) and tried to save her, but it was too late. Poor Shireen.
THE MEREEN FIGHT SCENES WERE AWESOME. I am so glad that Jorah is back in Dany's good graces...and finally some dragon riding! I got chills when I heard that roar and burst of flame come in. Drogon is there to save his mommy! |

Uh...guys? How is greyscale spread? Cus Stannis hugged Shireen on that side of her face which was against his, and did Jorah touch Khaleesi with his greyscale hand? |
Overture - Wolves June 9th, 2015 1:10:10pm 199 Posts |
The oppisite hand that was infected on Jorah touch Khaleesi's hand (trust me my friends and I inspected. (the greyscale is on his left forearm and he held Khaleesi's hand with his right) Shereen's greyscale was dead. She was able to beat it but the skin is dead from it. She know longer carries the disease though.
Trig - A few months ago the creators stated that Bran and Hodor (and Meera) have this season off. Bran's story has caught up to the books so they gave them a break this season. PS still waiting for GENDRY OMFG I have a direwolf, your argument is invalid |

I also must add that I am getting quite bored with the Arya storyline...its just moving WAY to slow for me. I'd much rather see more Jon Snow, or Dany, or even Sansa. Whynn - It is true that this is not the first time children have been burned alive on Game of Thrones (for example, Theon Greyjoy burned those two farmer boys when he fooled people into thinking it was the Stark boys)....I just HATE that they showed it (or at least we heard her screaming) and that it was her own father who made the call. The Red Woman literally creeps me out. I wonder if she could be sacrificed to the Lord of Light!!! LOL. I KNOW that Shireens death was inevitable though just because Stannis is a leader, and he has seen the magic of the Red Woman work before. He has this undying faith in her and the Lord of Light that if she says something he goes along with it. She had asked Stannis previously to sacrifice Shireen and when he did not, his camp ended up getting burned by Ramsays crew. I know Stannis and the Red Woman believe that happened because he refused to obey the Lord of Light. It was a tough decision between sacrificing Shireen or him and his entire army dying in the snow...So I UNDERSTAND (I guess) his point of view....however I just am sad that they showed it and that it happened. It was just a very shocking scene. - INA! |
