Do you save your precut animals (.png or .psd) after you're done with the photo manip? I've kept mine since I started manipping years ago but I'm wondering if keeping all those cut outs is just a waste of computer space.

I guess my logic was that I could reuse the really old ones to make new manips but I never do, and I'm thinking I don't really want to. I guess I also keep them just in the slim case that I need to (for some reason) change horse/dog in the manip I've made.

So, do you keep those files or just trash them? And if you keep them, why?

I kept mine, but my lost them all eventually. I was always worried I'd forget what site and user to credit, easy fix just put it below the cut out haha. I would keep them again if I did cut-outs but I use a new technique I found awhile back. I personally say save them (: You never know when and if you might want to use them again!

I dont keep cut outs - not even in my manip days.  Since I keep the cutout as a layer itself in a manip, if I want it I know where to find it!

I also just have a psd file of the finished product saved. No need to save the individual elements separate. I also just name each stock layer with the provider's name.

I started keeping mine recently but I don't think I"ll probably ever reuse them unless its several years from now.  Just wasting space for me basically.

Thanks for the feedback you guys. My computer space is getting low so I might start deleting mine. It also just feels like all that cutting out and the picture is only used once...I don't know, like it's wasteful? Lol, I know that sounds dumb...
