Hey HP'ers!

We've got some new stuff for you to check out! :). PLEASE let us know ASAP if you find any bugs lingering about, since as far as we know they are all currently fixed.

1. The game should be running MUCH faster! Have you noticed?!

2. We've got a starter pack which is available to any player who has the trial upgrade. As a "Thanks for Dealing with Our Bugs" we've got it available for EVERYONE this week, though.

It's $5 and it comes with a one month upgrade, 25 mill HPD, and a custom store pair with 200k points. This has had a lot of success on other games, and we're hoping that it can give new players a bit more of a boost to get started. If the amounts don't end up working well, we will adjust.

We'll also be working on fixing some bugs, and getting a link to your association in your home menu, so please stand by for that :).

Yes! I have noticed HP is much faster - But the Upgrade thing isn't going away though. I recently upgraded for 6mo and other players said it faded away this afternoon, but my notification hasn't. Is this a bug?

Ah, now it went away - Thank you, Binny! :) I clicked on it earlier but before it only showed the usual Upgrade screen so it wouldn't go away..That's why I wondered if it was a bug/glitch.

I know you guys said that the starter pack is available to everyone right now, but would it affect any current upgrades? Like would it just tack on the extra month or would something else happen entirely? Granted I don't know how many people would actually do this, but just as a note for everyone.

It would add a month :).

So I click on the link to have it disappear, but every time I log back in, it pops back up. Do I have to do the upgrade to make it go away completely? Not that I don't want to, but I really can't afford it at the moment (yeah, even $5 is cramping me right now....stupid no job) and I can't really start a new account since I really don't have the funds to upgrade again. So just wondering if it's a bug that it keeps coming back.

I have that too, Abs - It'll only stay gone when I'm logged in {after I click it}, but if I log out to switch accounts or just get timed out, it comes back again.

I really don't need this at the moment since I've got a pair of 200k AQH's and a 6-mo Upgrade that I recently bought two weeks prior after my trial ran out; but like she said, I am definitely considering it for my spare account in the future. 

Is it a Glitch that we can buy it more than once per account?

It'll pop up every time you log in, and then you'll have to dismiss it, for the week that everyone can buy it. Buying one won't make it go away. The reason is because this is for new players, and for new players we want the notification to keep popping up because I know when I'm new, I often dismiss something and then can't find it again later on. Once only new players can buy them, then the notification will go away.

For this week, every player can buy them. After that it will be limited to new players (that qualify for the trial upgrade).

You can buy an unlimited number of them while they're available to everyone!

I bought the Starter Pack for this account today and with it, 2 starter dogs. I was changing some info and noticed they are 3 years old. I was wondering if this is a glitch? Are they supposed to be 2, like when you usually buy dogs from the store?
